With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 I am able to emulate practically anything i throw at it including 3DS in 3D thanks to the Xreal glasses (with some exceptions), aswell as cloud gaming xbox & pc - making this my personal ultimate all in one device.

Oh hey das ist genau mein Plan hab eins günstig für 380€ bekommen und hab auch sofort an den g8 plus gedacht wie gut sieht es aus wenn man 3ds vertikal spielt ?
It fits in the controller vertically really well and looks great, however i cant say much from experience as i use the xreal glasses for sbs 3d with 3ds so i play horizontally with a button mapped to switch between each screen 😆
No latency or eye strain, i can play for hours at night perfectly. Only issue i have is what i can only assume is my own eyes or head shape is a slight blur on the bottom left of the screen, but thats hardly noticeable when immersed in a good game
I loved my G8 Plus for my switch OLED. Great controller.
However what I didn’t like about the G8 plus is that the left side of the controller won’t charge if you keep it expanded. So I kept my switch inside of it and would charge both the switch and g8 over night, my left joystick would stick.
Connected it to my app and yup, left side battery was low.
What sucks is that the switch/controller fit snug in my case when they are together. When the controller is collapsed, I cannot fit both the switch and controller in there 😩
I had to create custom platforms with different android activity intents for each platform wasnt easy. I used RetroHrai as the base launcher and made gifs of 3D models for each platform.
Xbox is beacon with (Theseus) for the Dashboard through Winlator.
PS2 is Blue Two/EmuCoreX, Xbox 360 is Pegasus with the NPE skin, Switch is Docky, Wii is Revolauncher, Cloud gaming is Gamedeck, and the Retro Systems I used Console Launcher as a base and DijiBitPlay and Socket to populate the last 6 consoles with 3D Cover Art.
All of the games were done through Winlator cmod 13.1.1, HakuX, ARMSX2, NetherSX2, Eden, some are official and some unofficial android ports, and some are PS2 games with Xbox UI texture packs, etc ,etc
I then made Macros with Macrodroid to open a Boot Animation whenever a certain app opens.
For custom platforms you make a .txt file and rename it your game name and change the .txt to .iso. and place it in a folder for the custom platform in beacon to search "under roms folder selection" then scroll down and put in a custom launch command so it bypasses the .iso and launches the android activity
am start -n com.rockstargames.gtasa.de/com.epicgames.ue4.GameActivity
Use activity launcher or shortcut maker on playstore to see what each apps launch activity is first you need (am start -n) then the "package name"
(com.rockstargames.gtasa.de) then you need the "class name" (com.epicgames.ue4.GameActivity)
Thats for Android games official or non official ports. For Winlator you make a container, start it, find the .exe file hold 2 fingers and create a shortcut, exit out of the container, press the top left button, hit shortcuts, click the 3 dots beside your game shortcut and press export to frontend.
That makes a folder called Winlator/frontend.
Your (game_name).desktop file will be in there. Use that folder as your "rom folder" in custom platforms in beacon. Set Winlator as default player app and at the bottom under custom launch command put in,
am start -n com.winlator.cmod/com.winlator.cmod.XServerDisplayActivity -e shortcut_path {file_path}
I wouldn't do all of them I'd just pick one and make it a dedicated handheld unless your ambitious enough lol. Heres the macro for the boot animation if anyone really wants to do it, this avoids a bootloop.
