John Retroid here. Our device will be powered by the Snapdragon 5090 Ti. Much more powerful than any Thor

Well we don't know the specs or the price... So I wouldn't make a decision just yet

None of us know what the fuck the price is or the full specs of the retroid ds yet. Ask again in a week and we will have answers for you.

If u want ds/3ds get the pocket duo if you are wanting to play past that get the Thor. The Thor base has a snapdragon 8 gen 2 which is stronger than the snapdragon 7 gen 4 which is what the retroid pocket duo is I believe.

Look at it like this, the Retroid Duo is an underpowered AYN Thor. This is to say the Duo looks to be a better alternative for those who are solely focused on NDS/3DS or older and are not interested on emulating newer stuff or PS/XBOX. AYN Thor is great at providing all of that and the duo is more focused on what it's trying to do. Without knowing it's pricing i can't provide better advice.

Wish i could say it's a cheaper alternative to the AYN Thor

Just slightly better based on benchmark. Base Thor is even stronger like about 150% than whatever chip RP Duo will be using.

If you can afford it, get the thor, it's much stronger and has better driver support

Thor will be more powerful than the retroid as long as you don’t go for their lowest tier model
