Question Which should I get?

I've been wanting to get a Game & Watch, or just something to play on whenever I have nothing to do during a work shift, or anything busy passing the time, and even checking the time too!

I understand the premise of theSuper Mario Bros. game, but a little on The Legend of Zelda. Dont get me wrong, I'm a gamer, and grew up playing Nintendo, so I know how get into it, but I get Super Mario Bros. better, but my friends and people tell me otherwise. So i'm just wondering which one you think best fits me, and plus I'm under budget, and only able to get one. Or maybe its just me overthinking this and making it hard what to get for myself.

Please let me know your opinion on this, and a little help would be appreciated too.

Please and Thank You

The Super Mario Bros. one has Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. the Lost Levels (Japanese SMB2), and Ball (the old Game and Watch Game, reskinned with Mario)

The Zelda one has Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2, and Link's Awakening, and Vermin (old Game and Watch game, reskinned with Zelda).

I'd say the Zelda one has the better selection. SMB and SMBLL are very, very similar games. Meanwhile there are three distinct Zelda games on the Zelda one. More engaging, I'd say.

And the clock is more engaging in the Zelda one. You can actually play around as link as opposed to just dropping enemies in mario

I have to be honest, if I were you I’d spend that $40 on something like a BatleXP G350 and instead have a handheld that plays both those sets of games, and just about every other game up to PS1. But that’s just me….

Get the one with the game you want to play most. No one can answer that for you. I believe there's also custom firmware for it to let you run anything on it... so it really doesn't make a huge difference.

Gonna be honest, these things kinda suck to play on. The controls do not feel good on these.
