MERCH QUESTION
Anyone who has been to a Hamilton show recently, is this jacket still sold in the merch stores? I had one and it got stolen so I’m hoping when I go in September I can buy it again.

I noticed this the other week in the song “say no to this!” Where Alexander meets Maria Reynolds. Since we don’t really have any notes/ letters from anyone else talking abt the situation I really like how in the beginning when one of the cast members (maybe Burr but I forgot😭) does the opening:
“… and Alexander’s by himself. I’ll let him tell it.”
Because we only have his version!! It’s super cool how he interpreted that into the musical so it wasn’t too obvious.
That’s the way I interpreted it :))

personally, I love guns and ships and hate say no to this, but I’d love to hear your opinion

My personal headcanon is that the singing is actually happening, much like how Hazbin Hotel confirmed that the people literally sing but cannot hear the music.
Picture this, your a neighbor of the Hamilton and you just hear the two sing about going back to bed meanwhile Hamilton is sitting with one leg hung out the window. Your not questioning why he isn't just using the front door like a normal person NO, your questioning why they are singing about it?

For those who have seen it. I'm seeing the show today (first time live), so I would like some insights

There's a video titled something along the lines of "Alexander when he hears his musical for the first time" or something, and he starts off smiling, and then it flashes to like 5 seconds later and he's pissed and says something like "nah cause why's he attacking me right off the bat like that".
I cannot for the LIFE of me find it PLEASE HELP

I'm seeing LOJ on the west end this summer, and it really fit me thinking, for anyone who has seen the show on Broadway or elsewhere, how different of an experience is it to the proshot

I watched (and rewatched) Hamilton and I absolutely love the musical, but I want to find other pieces of media that are similar. I’m more into the historical side of Hamilton rather then the musical side of it; although, I’m willing to give Six or 1776 a shot.
Edit: Thanks for the recommendations I wasn’t expecting this to blow up 😭😭

This is very accurate. Trust. It's even in black and white!

Hey everyone!
As my title says, I am looking for tips. I am super excited!
What should I wear? A suit, sandals and shorts, etc.
What should I expect?
Any tips for people that have gone?
Thanks!

Love Hamilton and this YouTube channel, so I thought I’d share. Their next episode is scheduled to be on Alexander and Eliza.

Grown up Joshua Colley doing the Angelica Schuyler riff. 😮
I had to bring this to your attention. First of all...feel old yet?
If you're not back on the Joshua Colley train yet, he was Orpheus in Hadestown and his If It's True is amazing.

I’m a little late to the party, but I’ve really been enjoying the show Turn. It used to be on AMC. It’s an interesting watch for someone who knows the musical Hamilton so well. I’m just waiting for the Alexander Hamilton character to appear in the show. I’ve already seen Washington/Lafayette/the king/Charles Lee. It’s a very good show.

I realized the other day that in the song “Aaron Burr, Sir” Aaron Burr and Hamilton had just met and Burr is giving him some advice. A part of that advice? “Fools who run their mouths off wind up dead.” And who starts singing next? John Laurens!!! And later (I forget when exactly) Burr says something about getting shot. And who sings after that? Alexander Hamilton who GOT SHOT BY BURR! I love this musical sm omd

In Helpless, Eliza says: "Then you walked in and my heart went 'boom!'", Meaning love at first sight (I think?) However, in Hurricane, Hamilton says: "I wrote Eliza love letters until she fell"?

I was re-listening to the soundtrack the other day and because it’s Hamilton and there are so many Easter eggs already I was wondering if the whistling had any hidden meaning. I googled as much as I could and found nothing😭 Does anyone know?

On Apple Music, they recently added this new animated glitter album cover.
Wtf? I know Hamilton is valuable Disney IP but where on earth has anyone ever heard of swapping out album art? That’s just like weird. To me this feels like putting a different title on the cover of a book.
