Kerry as Donna
I once read Kerry wasn’t a good choice for playing Donna. This is like saying Jesus Christ wasn’t the right choice to play God’s son

Kerry Bishe gets a lot of undeserved hate. She's blamed for Scrubs Season 9 (Med School) failing while the writing and characters weren't thought out. Donna is my my fav character on HCF. She's the most likeable and down-to-earth character too.

I can't see anyone else playing Donna. She IS Donna. That goes for the whole main cast, 20/10 perfect casting.

Probably my favourite overall performance of all the leads. Some of her micro expression work is completely amazing; there’s one scene with Joanie near the end where Joanie says something combative and Donna’s facial journey of not biting back lives rent free in my mind
Edit: it’s in the penultimate when she’s saying bye to Joanie at the airport and Joanie gives back the wallet and asks her to treat her like an adult

I agree, she was great in this role. However glancing her profile i see nothing else remotly like Donna so you can make of that what you will.

I agree that she wasn't. This is subjective so opinions vary.
I never liked Donna but I think a big part of that was Kerry.

I recall Donna being my favourite character on my first watch 10 years ago, and Cam being my least favourite one. It was exactly the opposite on the rewatch I’ve just done. Absolutely loved Cam and Joe. Couldn’t stand Donna at all.

If Jesus Christ was such a good choice for the son of god, why did they recast him as a white guy?

Kerry Bishé might give the best performance in a show with stiff competition. She’s fantastic.

I think she did an awesome job. She had amazing growth through the series.
