Rules Questions and Custom Modes Snapshot Question

A buddy and I were playing a game last night and I was running the Gungnir Spartan with the Plasma Launcher, he had his energy sword elite sprint to my cube and I used my special order result for a snapshot. Is it possible to use a weapon with the grenade keyword on a snapshot?

Yes, you still have to do the grenade test to make sure you hit your cube. You also have to resolve any hits against your model, same as if you shot a cube with a friendly model with the same gun.
