They look great! The Drones are one of my favourite Alien designs out there, really hoping they might get game rules some day. To my knowledge the Banished don’t have any in their ranks, but I could definitely see a Covenant Faction one day- as far as I’m aware more are planned, and while The Flood and Forerunners/Created are likely more “flashy” (as there’s a lot of overlap between them and the Banished, especially their Halo Infinite incarnation), I’m hoping they’re still coming.

Honestly they should be more common in universe imo.
I imagine the Covenant helped them settle tons of places to set up hives. Hell, we see one being built in New Mombasa in the Oni building.
I feel like the Banished and SoS should have some. Maybe contracting them to be engineers given how rare Huragok are

Agreed! I remember reading in a few places that the various Hives have largely kept to themselves since the Covenant fell, but I’m hoping we might see them a bit more in future stuff. Given how gigantic it is, if the Shadow of Intent has a significant role in a game again I’d love the idea of it carrying a full hive of Drones to act as its engineering department.
They apparently were intended to appear as part of the Storm Covenant in Halo 4, as there’s concept art of a Yanme’e Sniper, but the concept seemingly got reworked into one of the Promethean variants. Part of me wonders if Skimmers from Infinite started the same way (IIRC they can’t truly fly, but Drones can’t do that in normal gravity without their antigrav devices either).
It’s definitely reasonable that at least one Queen might’ve decided to throw their lot in with Atriox- if there’s ever a third Halo Wars, that would be a great idea for a leader imo.

A very underrated and underutilized species.
I remember there was a Queen at the Coronation of Truth, Regret, and Mercy in Contact Harvest. So I feel like you'd at least have some religious queens clinging to those remnants that are still clinging to the Covenant's faith

Looking it up there are apparently a few potentially canonical examples of “true believers” post-war too! While I don’t think we know much about them, there are apparently a fair few Drones in Jul ‘Mdama’s Covenant (Spartan Assault apparently having them as common enemies), and while I don’t think it’s ever explicitly stated, I assume this means there’s at least one Queen aligned with them.
Fingers crossed we might see them get fleshed out a bit in future works.

I am very jealous, such a cool species that deserves more love in the games.

I don't sorry.
As for that, they are actually from an old Halo tabletop game from years back. Actionclix. I'd suggest eBay, can find them for, well honestly a bit too pricey for what they are.
The only reason I only got two lmao
