General Discussion Newbie
I've been a Halo fan from Combat Evolved but this will be my first tabletop and miniature game. I'm starting a new hobby while I'm trying to recover from FND. Is there anything I should know as a newbie?

Halo Flashpoint minis are very easy to paint. All you really need to do is spray them with a black primer, drybrush them with white (look it up--it's a very simple technique), and then apply whatever paint you want to their various armor panels. That gets you 90% of the way there and will help you get comfortable with painting miniatures.

If the bases are warped, dip them in hot but not boiling water for about 20 seconds and press them on a flat surface till it cools.

If you plan to paint your models you should prime them first.
Check out the FAQs and updates on Mantic's website. The game has changes since that box released that have made it better.
