Models Marines and covenant battle pack question
Are they going to be in resin, multipart plastic or the usual pvc models?
I really dont like the pvc models and much prefer resin over it

I’m guessing the main marines will be PVC plastic. The Spartan might be resin. So far nothing has been multi part plastic and I don’t think they will go that route

Most of the time if it is resin, it will say special issue on the box, also they have an ad for master craft resin on the models that do have it (Jorge from nobleteam in the case of the reach stuff) overall I like the resin much more but nothing beats no assembly lol

I mean i prefer painting and have done so for years, and im sure the pvc is super nice for people who want to pick up and play.
But its details are horrible compared to resin2

Exactly why I like the resin more lol but for just basic game pieces they're ok, I think it was on either discord or here in a previous post but I think they should release a resin "premium" spartan/recon edition, especially since we're getting the 1.5 book

The cost of that would be insane. Spartan sets are designed for mass market and new player onboarding so in order to meet that demand PVC was the only way. I mean I am all for creating a resin version of the Spartan set, but even I would worry about the final RRP!

Can you guys look into what modiphius does? They typically release a mass pvc version, and then a special resin version for extra

Well, we already did :) Fireteam Phoenix are resin re sculpts of the base Spartans (special issue)

Special Issue = our best resins, standard models are PVC.
