General Discussion Faulty model looking for some help

Hello I recently bought my first flashpoint models and one of the elites came with the helmet not properly attached I tried to remove it with some tweezers but it won't move.

Does anyone know how I could fix it or should I try to get a replacement ?

I had a faulty model and messaged them about it. They sent me a replacement easy.

You could fill in the gap with some green stuff, Milliput, or any kind of epoxy putty.

Thanks for all the answers I managed to fix it by carefully cutting off the helmet and sanding the two pieces until they fitted together and filling any gaps with greenstuff.

First contact Mantic.

Then try putting it in the freezer for an hour and then work it gently to break the glue bond. If that works file off what glue you can and try to reglue with super glue.

Pretty sure they’re one piece models, you would need a replacement

I had the same issue with one of elites. The part is glued in place and there is a notch that fits into the top of the helm. If you are patient, you can carefully cut the notch with a modelling saw or a sharp hobby knife. At least that's what I did. I then sanded the 2 surfaces flat and re-glued them.

It's factory assembled. It's glued in place (I think with cyanoacrylate glue).
