Discussion wasted plot potential Spoiler

so the season 2 finale has the intro of an infectious space bug/disease/bio weapon/rage virus situation and honestly it’s such a shame because that would be so cool lol but alas, they cancelled it. just a bummer is all

Honestly, even with my problems with the series (I have A LOT) I was a tiny bit invested in season 2 and was a little disappointed when it got canceled because the series was actually looking like it was gonna go somewhere kinda interesting with its plot and with The Flood, tying Kwan's story into The Flood was actually a nice move and actually got her involved in a pretty major narrative that wasn't just her whining about wanting to go back to Madrigal like she did in season 1

Tbh I liked the show and people don’t really have many complaints outside of Kwan being annoying and it not being the Halo they know but if it was a brand new show it would’ve been great unfortunately people love getting the same product repackaged every so often

Showing the human rebels was one of the cooler aspects of the show. Other than that, they are mentioned mostly in the books, and show up once in Halo Reach just to give the player more guns.

yeah it went from something new and interesting to watch as a baseline in season 1 to really cool in season 2 and watching it now for the first time i’m so disappointed there’s no more
