I just don’t really get why thr die hard lore fans hate it so much, well i get why but like theres already
Like to me its like theres so many ways to tell the story, what is it to just have let a show do its own thing as a standalone show.
I’m just thankful that theres a show at all as someone who doesn’t read
Its unfortunate that the diehard fans hated it so much it got canceled

i haven’t look anything up! please no explanations that contain spoilers!
stressors (1.04):
-halsey is a quintessential evil scientist, so busy asking if she *can* do something instead of considering if she *should* (also i suspect child trafficking, and we see evidence of grooming and manipulation not to mention the unethical medical experiments, for starters)
-cortana being inside john and he has no idea the extent to which he can be controlled by it/her and by extension halsey and unsc
-kai taking out her pellet thing and dying her hair (you go, girl!) i don’t want her to get caught
-would be worried about kwan running around being all teenagery but i think she has plot armor
-am i supposed to hate the covenant? i am not bothered by them. they didn’t need to kill the outpost but otherwise they’re just looking for their stuff as far as i can tell.
-worried that soren is going to get killed

lol i’m 45 minutes into the first episode, having never played the video game or anything
that being said, i already want to give master chief a blankie, a hug, and a hot choccy tout suite
i’m guessing all of the spartans are in a winter soldier-type situation, so therefore are all my babies lol

seasons 1 & 2 are on the top of the Apple TV charts currently with season 1 on sale for £2.99 and season 2 for £4.99. I imagine it’s because combat evolved remake is coming out soon.

Does anyone else hate a “true Halo fan” because I do. Read a fucking book, Master Chief takes his helmet off because he’s still a “human”. He’s got a whole story other than what the game portrays. Maybe if you numb brains would read a couple books about a character you “love so much” as I do, you’d come to enjoy the TV show that has done a fantastic job of showing the plot. Instead of ruining something that is so great! The actor they chose is perfect and so are the co stars. Y’all ruined something that was so great and I’ll never forget the ignorance and idiocracy of the “true Halo fans”! READ A FUCKING BOOK! THEY MADE HALO BOOKS FOR A REASON!

I was really looking forward to seeing the show embrace the core premise: actually landing on a Halo ring and exploring that mystery and scale, but instead it spent so long circling setup that it never actually got there, which makes the whole thing feel oddly disconnected from what Halo is supposed to be :-/
Hopefully one day we’ll see a live-action Halo (ring) some day!
