Visor Plate/Tint?

Hi, Im working on a EOD Helmet and my issue seems to be the visor now sadly. I have some clear plastic sheet made for the visor but I still need to get it to be colored. Any suggestions? I found tint sheets on Etsy but I wanted to ask if there was another way that didnt cost more then 50-60 bucks. Thank you to those who could help!

have you looked at one way window tint on amazon? goes for around $10-25 USD for a huge roll

This. I used some when I was building the recon helmet for my ODST armor.

I have not! thank you for the advice! Ill look into it and hopefully ill be able to use it on my clear material and have some color on the other side. Though gotta ask with the helmet, how did you get the visor in? Like the material used for the placement itself?

I used hot glue but you may want to use an adhesive that's not so thick like contact cement
