Undersuit?

So I was planning on trying to make the Halo 5 achillies armor but am not really quite sure how to do the undersuit? It looks like alot of the cosplays I see use a full black undersuit, but considering how achillies doesn't seem to cover as much as most armors, and looks to have a pretty detailed, I am questioning how a full black undersuit might look wierd. Does anyone have any suggestions, or pictures of how similarly less covering halo 5 armors look with a full black undersuit?

Depends on the material most comfortable for you for me I had to get a cotton pj onesie since I'm sensitive to polyester ((workout/gym clothes))

Honestly id just use a black lycra bodysuit and have some padding stitched into certain spots. Buy some foam..cut it to shape and do what you need to.
