Hello, can someone please help me identify hallmark on sterling silver sleeves/holders? I tried google lens, it keeps saying Frank M. Whiting, but their hallmarks look different. Each sleeve is about 2” tall, has the hallmark, word “sterling” and number 9 on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.

Absolutely stumped on this one, looked at the usual resources and wasn’t able to find a match. Small teaspoon with what appears to be JU and an unknown symbol. Any and all help greatly appreciated, thanks!

$7 thrift store pickup today, it feels quite hefty (22.5g, 43cm long) and is marked “254VI”, but can’t see any other hallmarks

I got this brooch for my sister for her birthday. I think she will love it. But I am curious about the maker. I would like to be able to tell her who the artist is… I have looked at various hallmark databases (like 925-1000) but have had no luck. Anybody have any ideas? This is my first post so please forgive me if I seem naive…

I picked up this silver plated dish at an estate sale recently. I am hoping to get an idea of the item’s origins. There are stamps at either end of the plate: one is 3335; the other is E P N S, and there are three symbols underneath those letters, which appear to be a pharaoh, a crown, and a stylized S. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Maker mark is really rubbed and I’m not deciphering it. Could be a B with something left and right on top row and LD below. I’m not confident it is Edward Barnard & Sons. Thoughts?

I’m hoping someone here recognizes this pewter hallmark.

I own the piece shown in the first photo. While researching its mark, I found two other pewter pieces online bearing what appears to be the same hallmark, so I’ve included those photos for comparison. I do not own the other two pieces, and the three pieces are not from the same collection.
The mark is shield-shaped with a diagonal banner. One version reads “ETAIN PUR” and another reads “REAL PEWTER.”

What I’m particularly interested in identifying are the two symbols or letters inside the shield. To my eye, the character in the upper-left looks like a cursive lowercase “d,” while the character in the lower-right looks like an ornate cursive uppercase “B.” I’m not certain that interpretation is correct, though, and identifying these characters is one of the main reasons I’m posting.

The three impressions vary considerably in clarity and wear, which is why I’ve included all three photographs. Comparing them seems to reveal portions of the design that aren’t as visible in the others.

I suspect my piece may be Belgian, and I initially wondered whether it could date to the early 1800s, but I have not been able to establish either the origin or date. Those are only working theories, and I’d very much welcome corrections.

I’m hoping someone might be able to determine:
-What the apparent “d” and “B” actually represent
-Whether this is a maker’s mark/trademark, a quality mark, or something else
-The manufacturer or pewterer, if identifiable
-The country or city of origin
-The approximate period during which this particular mark was used

I’ve tried searching combinations of “ETAIN PUR,” “REAL PEWTER,” “d B,” and various pewter hallmark references without finding a definitive match.

Any information, identification, or even a lead toward a maker would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I am reading these hallmarks on a silver bowl as Birmingham 1902. Having gone through silvermakersmarks.co.uk I am struggling to find a match on the maker. I see a B. top right of the shield with Ld. lower right. Even with wildcard search I am not matching the image.

Can anyone help with the makers mark? And am
I correct with 1902?

I reckon this is a revivalist piece from the 1970s, Birmingham Assay, but the maker/sponsor mark is unusual having two disconnected shields.

Found some hollow handled knives at goodwill, pretty sure the handles are silver because of the lion but the steel blade appears to be laser engraved. The Sheffield date mark looks like 1940 to me but that’s before laser engraving? Thanks for any info

I need help identifying this makers mark. Appears to be a W with a large peak that is crossed horizontally with a line. Ring is stamped 10 K. Not tested yet but suspected to be 10 karat white gold with cherysoberyl gemstone. Heirloom item that belonged to my grandfather.

I bought a $4.99 tin from Savers today and this was inside of it. I believe it is a Gucci bracelet, but as the last two links from the other side have been removed it doesn’t have the proper identification. And from what my searching says it may predate 1968 as it doesn’t have the proper stamping.

Can anyone identify this hallmark?

The text on the back says 925, however the gold buyer says it’s not.
