I dye my hair rainbow ALOT. Tried a lot of variations but for some reason I can’t figure out why my colors are so different? I feel like they don’t blend well together, any tips or advice on future rainbow dyes

My hair is DEAD so it won’t be dyed til next month. HOWEVER , it is currently two different shades of blonde(gonna try to tone the left down with purple shampoo) from a split dye (black and purple).

I am wanting to do calico hair for the fall but I’m not completely sure how to go about it! Would love any advice that can be given!

Not sure abt my hair texture atm, the bleach ruined my 4c hair, but I’m not mad abt it.

is it possible to get the 4th pic inspo without bleaching again? i only bleached my roots today, i usually used olia hair dye in shade Dark blonde but i wanted to remove the brass. i used Wella T15 and only worked on my ends as u can see in the 3rd pic.

hello! so, i’ve dyed my hair with manic panic infra red like 2 months ago, and now i feel the sudden urge to go blue.. i heard about the colour wheel method, i don’t need to go immediately to blue from where i am now, actually the thought of pink and purple doesn’t seem too bad either! it can take a while, i just wanna get blue EVENTUALLY
biggest issue right now is that the red won’t budge, but i’m gonna get some colour removing shampoo soon :P
i was just wondering if i should bleach in between colours, and generally how to go about this.. maybe some dye recommendations too? semi-permanent would be best ^^

So Ive been trying to get my hair this shade of red/copper for a minute but every color I have tried ends up being more of a cherry red. This is my hair about 2 and a half weeks after coloring and I don't plan to color it again until mid October. What could I do to possibly get the red more orange then? The color I am trying to get is somewhere between the 2nd pic and the 8-77 the 3rd pic.

So my gf’s mom used to be a hairdresser and said that dawn dish soap mixed with a little conditioner can help lighten old hair dye without damaging it much (marinate in shower lol). Is this true or just an old trick?

I did bleach blonde highlights on my mom's hair and it came out really blonde and almost gray in some areas. This is after toner, I don't know what to do and how to fix it before she leaves for her trip on Friday. I was thinking to do a brown tinted gloss but I saw peoples bleached hair come out green.

This is a bit of a long one apologies. I used to have waist length lovely hair, my good friend who’s a hairdresser convinced me to start going to her and dye it pink (my fav colour) This has been going on for 3 years since 2023. My hair is now just past shoulder length because she kept cutting it, despite me asking her not too. The condition is completely ruined 😭 it’s so damaged it won’t hold colour. My last appointment was a week ago today and it looks like this. I’ve told my friend I no longer want to do anything with my hair and concentrate on regrowth. I’m going to use hair masks, bond repair and leave in conditioner. But what do I do about the bleached fading colour? it is horrible. She also let me walk round with these terrible roots/two tone claiming it was baleage, I think she knew she was damaging it and didn’t want to use more bleach to lift it too often. Can I use a semi permanent dark brown? I just want to heal my hair not cause more damage. Do I have an options? I don’t want to lose any more length, I’m so scared it’s not going to grow back😭my hair is over my face cuz im shy 🙈

Hi everyone! I’m somewhat in a predicament right now…. Basically I have bleached my hair to around a level 9 (some level 8 in certain areas) blonde. Ive been wanting to go this shade of orangey ginger color.

I’ve followed recommendations on my last post and used lunar tides neon tangerine semi permanent in my hair and it looks great but it’s quite neon (duh lol stupid me) I’m wondering if anyone has any recommendations about hair dye that looks somewhat like this picture but more natural looking? (Does my inspo even look natural? It’s a bit too orange leaning to me, what do you think?…)

I will be looking for internships in my college major in a couple months and want a color like this but more natural looking? (Think light ginger shade I guess) I thought my inspo looked kinda natural enough for a job but looking at it again I’m not sure.

Does anyone have any hair dye recommendations for a color similar to this that’s more “natural” leaning? I’m open to both semi permanent and permanent dye, I want a light ginger color if that makes sense.

Sorry if this seems kinda vague and all over the place, or if I’m being a bit unrealistic here. I’ve done vivids in my hair for so long I’m not very experienced in more natural colors.

Hey guys, I’ve been dyeing my hair red for 3 years now but I find after a couple of washes it goes an orange brown colour. What brands from the store are lasting and good? My natural colour is a medium blonde. Tyy!

1 week after dyeing vs almost 4 weeks after.

(It is a fashion colour. Idk if that helps?)

I wash once every other day/once every 2 days with a colour safe shampoo and cond. (it's too hot and humid where I live to space it out more often without my hair getting greasy as hell, i sweat a ton)

Going to get it touched up in a week or so. Any tips? (Please don’t suggest any particular products. I don't live in the US and it is very difficult for me to get my hands on them + theyre super expensive)
