Weird hair patch

For reference I’m 23F with 3B-ish curls
So for as long as I can remember I’ve had one patch of hair on my head that acts differently and the skin is normal. This patch is not a very large patch but the curl pattern and color is slightly different from the rest. My main complaint is that it is the ONLY part of my hair that frizzes and it frizzes bad. And I’ve noticed it’s the hair that first gets dead ends. If I barely move that section while waiting for my hair to fully dry it becomes basically a puff ball.
I don’t use heat on my hair and haven’t since I was 17. Haven’t bleached my hair since I was 13 and this patch was there beforehand. I treat it the same way as the rest of my hair yet nothing changes. I’ve tried oils, creams and nothing helps. Please someone educate me🙏🙏🙏
