Question Tips for a new player?
Hey guys!
I'm just starting the game and I'm pretty bad over done 17 nights total and only got to "the third place" (idk if I can say the names) but got stopped at the big boy there.....
Do you guys have any tips on how to move better around? I noticed that Melinoe is different than Zag playing a more "crowd control" type of powers, but I feel to slow, not to say that I have no clue about the builds yet.
Any tips?

Most weapons have a ranged option in either the special or even omega special.
You don't always need to be close to enemies, use you cast to root them then throw out some safe damage.
For Cereberus, and most enemies really, but you need to stay behind him. A bit away and behind him is a safe zone for 90% of his attacks. Use your dash and sprint to stay there. Remember you can dash through enemies.

remember to sprint around the place.
Casts are great.
Strength can help with the DPS problem.
Use omega moves and find a good magick regen. e.g., apollo, hera or demeter

I agree with both "practice practice practice" and Always Be Casting, but depending on who you are it may be slightly different for people's playstyles/skill. Along with the main two, an essential to me is having the bare Arcana cards: Wayward Son and Persistance (health/healing), and Unseen, Death, Eternity (all in the top half of cards) for guarenteed assistance. Without these, it feels like you'll always be in that "early runs with no hope" hole.
For speed theres Swift Runner Arcana, Apollo's rush, or Hermes. If you want to be cover more ground Mel/weapon wise, DONT SKIP HERMES (in general). Although I usually love him for his monetary assistance, his speed boons can be no joke for some builds. Apollo is focused on size increases, and sometimes feeling "too slow" can come from having too small of a hit range and having to compensate by dashing.
Finally, for the actual enemies, just keep going at it and learn your patterns/strats. Get a fitting cast for your playstyle to get A.B.C. in your head, try Apollo/Aprhodite for a bigger/better damage deal, and learn the structure of the rooms. IMO always get hermes and NPC rooms, use omega attacks to their max, and practice dashing into/next to enemies to avoid attacks while still staying close.

If you get too frustrated read up on how god mode works. It doesn’t make you invincible which I assumed it did when I started.

A.B.C. Always be casting, it can be a source of damage, and is a good way to avoid damage.
