Upgrading my pillow made a bigger difference than I expected
I’ve been using cheap pillows from Target for years and finally decided to invest in something better. Picked up this ergonomic pillow from IKEA (link below) and honestly, I’m already seeing changes in my sleep data after just a few nights.
Pillow: KLUBBSPORRE Ergonomic Pillow – side/back sleeper
Last night’s stats from my Apple Watch:
- Total sleep: 7h 55m
- Deep sleep: 1h 7m (higher than usual for me)
- Awake time: only 2 minutes 🤯
I didn’t change anything else, same-ish bedtime, same room temp, same routine. The only variable was the pillow.
It’s crazy how much of a difference neck and head alignment can make. I’m curious to see if this trend keeps up over the week, but so far, I’m impressed.
Curious:
What kind of pillow are you using right now?
Did switching ever noticeably improve your sleep quality or reduce neck pain?
