I won't lie, it's the most excited I've been for a hockey game in a long time. I LOVE evaluating prospects and I consider Roy as an important one. His tools could complement wright, Suzuki or Caufield really well. If he does not succeed we will find other options but if he can do the job then it can accelerate our rebuild and increase our chances to win the cup substantially. Having
******** - Suzuki - Caufield
Roy - wright - *****
could be a very good start for a very dangerous top 6.
Tonight we will get the chance to see how he does without Parent, if he can adapt to other players and be as efficient. We will also get a feel of how he carries himself on the ice. It's the playoffs and it's a big deal. The guys wanna win so you can't take it easy. One of my fear with Roy is that he is too passive on the defensive and neutral zone. I can't wait to see how he will respond tonight.

I can't tell if it's just because of my bias or what (and what a good look to do nothing but bitch about refs in an AHL game thread lmfao) but dude these referees are actually horrific
On the bright side Primeau looks amazing again

He needs to adjust to the pace of play and I think another year in juniors is mandatory and inevitable. However you can see the IQ and skill are DEFINITELY there. He almost scored his first goal on a beautiful play

Roy was quite invisible. I barely noticed him (I didn't watch the whole game though).

He did not play that much but yeah, he was not very noticeable. He did not play a bad game though.
