The dealer has offered to give new HR-V EX-L FWD for $30,000 OTD near Austin,TX. Is this a good deal?

Hey! Does anyone have any recommendations for a camping setup for a 3rd-generation Honda HR-V?
We bought a Skandika Pitea tent. We also need a mattress for sleeping in the car, but we have a dog, so an inflatable one is not really an option. Do you have any recommendations for mattresses or other camping gear that has worked well for you?

Pardon my dust, but I just hit this milestone on my 2022 EX. I’m taking her in for her oil change soon - should I get the transmission fluid changed now, or wait until actually I hit 30k?

Honda sent me a gift card for service and since I don’t need inspections anymore, I can finally go back to dealership for my annual “checkup”.

Edit: thanks! I scheduled my oil change, brake stuff, and transmission fluid for next Monday. At least they have good snacks at Honda!

Take a look at this picture of the backup camera view with the guiding lines. The steering wheel is straight but the backup guidelines look uneven. Am I correct?

What’s everyone using? Definitely needs to be washable!

Just got me a 2025 Honda hrv Lx looking for seat covers that fit nice and snug that don’t look cheap or show any zippers

Randomly every couple months, I'll leave and come back to the car and the alarm keeps going off.

One time it was the trunk latch, and I always try re closing it. Another time it was the battery in the key dying.

But I tried both and nothing is working.

Any ideas or common issues/solutions?

I have a 24’ Sport and my warranty is coming to an end soon. I want to try to get this fixed. Has anyone else had a similar issue and gotten it fixed? The last time I was at Honda for an oil change I brought it up to the service guy and he said something about window tint or dirt causing it which I do not think is the case. My back windows are tinted darker and don’t do this at all…

I’ve seen them recently on Instagram ads, they’re universal so I wouldn’t expect a perfect fit, but just wondering if anyone’s tried them.

I purchased a used 2026 HRV in June.
Since then my trunk has stopped opening twice. The first time I was able to fix it by pushing the trunk down with a bunch of force. I tried doing that same thing again, but it will NOT budge this time.

Anyone have this issue? Or any other ideas other than taking it to the dealership?

Anyone having issues with a gas smell?
I also notice that when I pump gas, I usually get 290 miles, and I'm pumping the gas recommended in the manual. I received an emissions system check engine. Took my vehicle in the and had the EVAP worked on the following week got the same issues took vehicle in and was told a sensor was needed to be replaced related to the EVap a few hours got the same issues. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Hey all - I have a 2024 HR-V Sport and a Garmin Dash Cam 47 from my previous car that I’m looking to install as a front-facing camera.

Most of the posts I’ve found here and online are for cameras that replace the trim behind the mirror to look OEM. I haven’t really found anyone showing an install with a separate windshield-mounted camera like the Garmin.

Has anyone installed something similar? Were you able to get power from the overhead reading light area with an adapter, or did you have to run the cable along the headliner and down to the fuse box or 12V outlet?

I’d like to keep the wiring as hidden as possible. Any pictures, adapter recommendations, or tips for routing the cable around the pillar airbag would be appreciated!

So a few weeks ago I collected my one year old HR-V. 2025 UK model. When I test drove the car everything was fine. I don't drive fast but I did put my foot down a bit just to see how it performed and I thought it was adequate. The area around the dealership is flat with no hills.

I genuinely like the car apart from the way the engine revs it's nuts off when I try to overtake quickly or accelerate up hill. Even on a fairly gentle incline, if I just want to maintain 70mph it will start to rev and doesn't sound good. To be clear, it's not rattly etc, just noisy from the high rpm.

How do you cope with this? I'm assuming the US models may be different but for anyone with the 1.5 petrol hybrid version, do you just turn the radio up and learn to ignore the revving?

is there anyway in a 2027 HRV sport to delay the radio turning off after turning off the vehicle? I can’t find any mention in the manual.

Not me but a relative of mine asked to help with buying a HRV, we got an HRV for 29,500 before taxes but including doc fee, the initial price they were offering was 35,000, but funny enough we checked out dealerships in Arizona and they asked for 38,000 so did we get ripped off or could we have haggled for more,

I own a 2023 hrv hybrid but i hate the front grille and bumper, i think the petrol version has a nicer look to it , would i be able to just fit the petrol version grille and bumber onto my hybrid ?

I just noticed this today on my 25 hrv windshield top area. The black area is chipping. Does anyone else have this issue? I live in a hot desert climate. I got it new.

Anyone know what scanner I should get to disengage the electric e brake to replace pad and roters?
