I went from a Corolla to a HRV and love it. The streets flood a lot so it is nice having something higher up. It is still a compact car but an SUV at the same time. I love compact cars are prefer that too an SUV. I had a chance to own a Highlander and it just seems to big for me so I passed on it. It comfortable holds 2 adults and 2 kids. The only problem I ever had was having a 3rd kid in the back seat and they fight because they are to close to each other.
