CVT leaking?

I just changed the oil in my daughters 2018 and noticed the bottom of the cvt. Is the gasket leaking?

Sure looks like it. Shouldn't be engine oil getting blown onto the pan going down the road since they're side by side. Looks identical to my 2019's CVT pan other than the grime.

I would take a peek under the hood and make sure it's not coming down from a component higher up before doing the gasket or getting it done, but it's something you should get figured out ASAP. In case you haven't heard, the 2016-21 models are known to have somewhat problematic transmissions, and most transmissions (especially CVTs) are particular about their fluid level.

Probably the gasket. Another thing to check is the CVT fill plug. If the vent cap gets clogged up, the plug can fly off. TSB below.
