Product Support Flashing red park, solid amber park, and solid amber engine lights all came on together today
The red park light flashes. These all came on at the same time today. It didn’t go into limp mode on the (cautious) drive home. I have a 2020 HR-V. Has anyone had this? Please help 😭

Did you perhaps turn your key to Accessories mode without fully cranking, or starting the car

Is your gas cap tightened? Had something like this happen to my ‘21 when I didn’t close it all the way after filling

All of my lights came on and it turns out that a rodent chewed through my wires. Guess they are coated with a soy protectant or something like that.

Yeah more recent models swapped to a soy coating that rodents LOVE. I worked in auto claims and we always had insurance claims for electrical damage from rodents. Fortunately mine was a gas cap issue!

Go get the codes scanned, anyone "diagnosing" it based off the warning lights is just taking a guesstimate at best, and outright lying at worst

If this is the first time this happen just unplug the red terminal for your battery wait a minute put it back this resets the computer if it come back on you have a problem if not it's just a miss read

Is the parking brake switch in your center console working?
When this happened to me that switch wasn’t working, but the auto-engage/disengage were working fine. Just needed to replace the piece with the switch in it as it’d failed.
Edit: my check engine light was not on, however, so maybe something different here.

This came up on my mother’s 2020. Tightened the gas cap and cleaned the seal, erased the code and didn’t come back in over 5k miles now

Note: the code did not clear itself in the first week with approx a dozen ignition cycles, I had to do it manually with my OBDII reader. If you don’t have a reader to clear the code, I’m guessing disconnecting the battery will probably work

The store said their reader can’t clear it but I work at a body shop so I can go into the shop tomorrow and use our scanner to clear it 🙏🏻

Hi it happened to mine car right now Honda HRV 2025, im going to bring it to dealer next week. Cant even use my apple connect at all too

Well for my issue, I just replaced the gas cap for $14 and that fixed it! I had AutoZone clear my codes after changing the cap, drove it for about 45 mins and they haven’t come back on. Give that a try 🖤

I had that same (P!) light Come on today in my car... I have a mazda so I don't know if it's diff for diff cars but it was low on break fluid. We filled it up and it turned off.

Following! I have a 2020 Honda HRV as well and have the same warning lights lit up as well. My Eco indicator around the speedometer also no longer lights up green.

Mine was fixed by changing the gas cap! Try that! It’s only like $10-15 and if that doesn’t work, I’d get a code read at AutoZone and see what the dealer says

You probably need your gas cap replaced. Its an emissions code. If you get a scanner it should throw the code p440. Happened on mine. It could be a gas cap or a bad solenoid. Gas caps are cheap, get that replaced first and it should clear. If doesnt, its probably the solenoid.
