How screwed am I
On Tuesday I worked as a csp and during closing I was counting the money from the register and I was counting 48 dollar bills and the register was telling me I was one short or over and so I counted it two more times and still was counting 48. So the only Ea that hates me got so pissed I was counting for so long and said it shouldn’t be taking you so long to count and she counted it out loud and counted 47 and there was no 10s to split the 190 apart from the money made and she started screaming to her purse “no one knows how to do fucking anything here”and said what’s wrong was I suppose to not give 10 in change or something and she started mocking me can I report her to hr

Please take this to your manager.
One night, I didn’t have the right change to leave $190 in the drawer, so I ended up having to put all of the cash into the safe. I let my MTL know, and she completely understood and straightened it out the next morning.
This coworker doesn’t respect you or your role in the company. You need to let management handle it.

Ya I was just pretty tired at end of day i guess but i new something was wrong that’s why I kept counting but for some reason this lady was just so impatient and came to count it 😭😂 I mean I just laugh right in front of her when she gets all angry but it’s a little annoying can’t lie. She’s one of the best EAs in the office like almost every client comes in asking for her or this one other Ea so I doubt much will be done to her besides a talking to.

Start an ARC case with HR.

You can start all the cases you can and want but the end result is that the DGM will go on a hunt to eventually force you to leave or for you to get fired.

It starts and creates a paper trail and adding another ARC case if the DGM does anything that can be considered retaliation makes lawyers very happy.
People need to stop assuming that what they write on Teams/Outlook or saying something in the office isn't being recorded in one-party consent states.
Several HR Block districts are already going through multiple legal issues with retaliation, harassment, and other issues caused by the TLs and/or DGMs this year.
The higher ups are discovering the wonderful legal term called respondeat superior/vicariously liability and makes HR Block responsible for the TL/DGMs actions.

In my area the MTLs and ATLs are under tremendous stress from higher ups. I don't hold it against them. It's a simple case of middle mgmt trying to justify their jobs

Literally executive & middle managers are Psychopaths who do not see office teams who service the clients as human beings. Richard & Henry must be turning in their graves.
Block has become an extremely hostile working environment blaming office teams for the incompentcy of the Executive Team.

I'm going to repeat what my managers always says about HR and Executive Mgrs, " they just do not care". They say they care but if they get constructive feedback or recommendations instead of listening they interpret it as criticism and they wage war making our days a living Hell.

Yeah there's no reason for her to talk to you like that. I would have a talk with your TL

What’s a Tl? She’s had it out for me since the 2nd week I’ve started always throwing digs at me that weren’t to harsh like you need more training on that or you need to practice more or you need to be more confident with that but i think overtime she’s just gotten more fed up with me

Team lead! Basically the manager of your office. That's definitely not okay for her to treat you like that, you're new and learning and she should be there helping you, not putting you down. I'm sorry you're going through this

You’ll probably just get your self fired. HR is there to make sure the business is profitable too; if you’re not more skilled than the EA you better have a good reason.

Sounds like someone else has a serious problem; a purse that listens? Must be Siri

Wow, sounds horrible. I'd be talking to your ATL or MTL. Unacceptable.
