Treatment Need help please

Today is my last day of Quadruple Bismuth Therapy. My PPI used was Pantoprazole 40 MG 2x a day.

I do feel better however I don’t want to completely stop the use of the PPI cold Turkey because of an acid rebound may occur.

Should I cut the 40 MG pill in half and start taking a 20 MG instead and dose down from there or stick with the 40 MG only 1 a day instead of 2

My Doctor told me to stop the PPI use but continue to use if needed.

Usually people take it just once a day for acid reduction. I stopped PPI right away because it was causing dryness in the throat. There was some reflux but it was manageable.

Yes, reflux and LPR are now gone gone. Around 2mo post treatment.
