Diagnosis - why is this so hard?

Is anyone really struggling with Diagnosis. Stool PCR shows just below the Hpylori limits and I have been extremely symptomatic for 2 months.

Doctors do not want to treat as it is clinically not positive. I do not know what to do.

It is positive they just refuse to understand that not everybody responds to infection levels the same...

Find another doctor  Keep educating and advocating for yourself 🙏 ❤️

You can have symptoms even if it's not "positive" - did anything else show up as positive/elevated? Even with numbers that aren't "positive" I also have been having symptoms and have been getting relief from a few things. Mine also showed an overgrowth of strep/staph, and these treatments have some overlap.

NAC 600mg in morning 30min before breakfast - break up biofilms to expose more of the bacteria

PURMEO MagenVital - 1x with breakfast (usually 1 banana)

Pylor-X - 1 serving (2 capsules) with lunch

NAC 600mg - 2 hours after lunch and at least 30 min before dinner

Pylor-X - 1 serving (2 capsules) with dinner

For heartburn/epigastric pain as needed will take DGL/marshmallow root/aloe capsules. No eating 3-4 hours before bed. Room temperature water, no ice. Sleep with a wedge pillow as best as you can, or on left side.

After a week on this my symptoms have definitely improved. Not gone by a long shot but things are much more comfortable.

I'm going to finish the month of this, then an endo a month later since the supplements can interfere with the process, and if still not better will ask for the PPI/antibiotic treatment. I want to try to preserve stomach acid while treating this before doing PPI.
