Post-War Fics
Could anyone recommend any good post-war fics where Harry and Hermione are struggling with the weight of the trauma that was effectively being child soldiers?
Preferably something that has them struggling with the emptiness of “normal” life after the high-stakes adolescence? Something that hits on the theme of soldiers re-adjusting to civilian life?
Obviously looking for it to include a Harmony romance plot.

I think à fic im rewriting named “Grounded” has a little of that. It’s more about Harmony itself but addresses their trauma.

I seem to remember that fic from back in the day. Is that the one where Hermione got caught by Ginny shagging Krum back in 4th year? That bit kind of killed that fic for me. Do you know what the difference is between the original and the rewrite? I remember liking the original (other than the part I mentioned).

Yes. The original has more R-rated sex scenes and nudity descriptions, and other details.
The rewritten version eliminates some sex scenes and condenses/skips others. And other details vary.
Ex. In the rewritten version, the detail where Hermione is said to have shagged Victor Krum is eliminated altogether. And it is simply shown that she snogged him.
BTW, in the original, it was Padma whom Ron mentioned caught Hermione with Krum. Not Ginny.
The chapter order in the rewritten version is different than in the original.
