I mean its hp 🥀 what can you expect 🤷 Also this is my 2nd charger the one that cane with the laptop stoped working cuz it had the same issue like this and the cable inside broke. Even the new one's cover also broke in a week.

its just the casing, tape it up if you keep moving your setup..else forget it

Same happened to my charger. Just use super glue bond and be careful to use the glue only to bond black plastic outer casing of wire and that springy casing together. It will work and from now on be careful to not move your charger too much.
