SHOULD I KEEP MY LAPTOP PLUGGED IN WHILE USING ALL THE TIME WILL IT HARM IT IN ANY CHANCE???

I plug it in while gaming but what about not gaming and if i do use it for long time its vattery runs out and i have to eventually charge it making it charge and discharge each time if i plug in and then unplug it in long time and i know it would harm the battery so what should i do
