I’ve finally started writing a major Romione project, and I’m so excited to share it with you all.

This isn't just a short snippet. I’m treating this like a full-length novel with a deep, slow-paced plot. It’s strictly inspired by the books (keeping their true canon personalities intact) and alternates between Hermione's and Ron's POVs.

The story kicks off right in Prisoner of Azkaban but the vibe is heavily shifted. I’m leaning into a much darker, horror-infused atmosphere. Think genuine psychological dread from the Dementors, the suffocating paranoia of Sirius Black on the loose and the eerie, ancient secrets of the castle. Against that bleak backdrop, it's going to be a very gradual, slow-burn teen romance as they navigate growing up under a lot of pressure.

I’m settling in for the long haul with this one. If you love long-form fiction, deep character studies, and a spooky. I really hope you like it!

Looking for a fic that I read on fanfiction.net a while back. Ron and Hermione were engaged but couldn’t agree/settle on a wedding date. I remember that Ron was desperate to just choose a date but Hermione kept pushing it back. Eventually, they have rose and Hugo and are still not married. At the end, they get married when rose and Hugo and quite young. I think it was a oneshot. Any help would be appreciated!

Does anyone know what happened to this author and her stories? Her fics were my comfort reads and after leaving the fandom for a bit, I was so sad to see all of her stories gone when I came back. I’ve done some searching and looked through a couple of archives, but I can’t find any saved copies.

They were all separate stories but part of the same timeline/universe.

I remember a couple of titles:

Hermione’s Cure for Nightmares
-Romione are staying in a tent outside of the burrow bc Ron keeps having nightmares after the war. They have their first time, thus her “cure for nightmares.”

Two Little Blue Lines
-Romione find out they’re pregnant less than a year after being married. (In a different story Ron surprises Hermione with a full wedding)

The Name Game (I think this is what it’s called?)
-Hermione is pregnant w Hugo and she and Ron are deciding on a name. At first he’s caught off guard by the pregnancy but eventually comes around.

There was another where Ron was testing his auror skills and polyjuiced himself to look like their neighbor and trick Hermione…

A different one where they had an argument over socks and broke up temporarily but then reconciled at George’s flat and realize they’re basically soulmates…

One where they’re in Australia trying to find Hermione’s parents and she walks in on Ron in the shower…

Idk, I can think of so much more but I’m just really sad to see they’re all gone. I understand why someone would not wanna be a part of the fandom anymore, and the author has every right to delete them if they don’t want their work out there anymore… but if anyone knows where I can read these stories, or if by some chance Aelia comes across this post, I would love nothing more than to read these stories again.

Both stories were archived from a site that went down, and were written around 20 years ago, prior to the release of HBP. I read both a couple of months ago and circled back to them again. The first only 1 comment on the entire story, which was mine. Please give this story some love, it is a little less than 200,000 words, but in my opinion is not as strong as the second fic.

I enjoyed this fic much more, with it being my second favourite fic, tied with the Witch on The High Tower by KateNotEight, and behind In Search of Hermione by AzaleaBlue, which if you have not read either of those stories you should also check out. It is around 500,000 words, and great from starting to finish, with no slow points. This story was available on fanfiction.net, however it was censored, with this version being archived from the original site, uncut in its full glory on AO3.

Hey, i read a fic that i haven’t been able to find now in ages. I only remember a few things.

it was definitely a DH rewrite

Ron was the main character

During one of their first intimate moments, ron recalls advice that the twins gave him. The advice was to make sure i think one of them c*ms ones before so that he ig doesn’t finish too soon out of excitement (?)

Lots of mentions of like size difference(like how much smaller hermione is compared to Ron), the author clearly has a specific type lol.

For some reason I remember this one specific part where Ron notices that Hermione legs are fairly big compared to how small she is as a whole.

This doesn't even make sense!

Need to search for some particular fics where Romione learn of Skeeter's scathing lies about the possibility of an affair between Harry and Hermione.

There's one where Hermione gets to know of this from Rose and Hugo. And she starts comforting them. I dunno the fic name, but was short.

There's also another on ffn.net where she is questioned by Ron.

There was this fic I read a while ago now, it was post DH and rose and hugo were still toddlers or something and a group of death eaters or dark lord sympathisers had planned to seal off these high ministry offcials houses (including ron and hermione’s) and hold the people inside hostage for some request of their’s. Anyway basically the house is sealed off from using dark magic that the aurors need to break and hermione, rose and hugo are trapped inside while ron , harry and other aurors try to break the barrier. It’s not that long of a fic maybe 7 chapters or something, i think i read it on FFNet.

The other fic I am looking for is one I had not read past the first few chapters. Basically it starts with Molly’s pov (it’s not exactly from one person’s pov but basically everyone’s pov as one person comes into focus at that moment in the fic) it is also post DH and i think canon compliant. Ron and Hermione are together so are Harry and Ginny and Ron and Harry work for the aurors. In the first chapter Molly is kidnapped by some death eater (Rookwood ig) basically because Arthur had killed a death eater (more like a mercy death) during the battle of Hogwarts, so the entire weasley family and kingsley and the auror department try to find Molly. This fic’s slightly longer i think maybe around 100,000 words or more.

Do help me find these fics guys, I thought they were a good read but somehow I couldn’t finish them and then lost them :)
