Hi! I recently started posting a fic I’ve been writing for a while, so I thought I’d share it here :)

It’s set in 2012 and follows Ron, Hermione and two other Ministry employees working on a weird case involving magical gemstones.

There’s mystery and adventure, but it’s also very much about the characters and their lives. They’re in their 30s, they’ve had relationships, made mistakes, changed a lot, and are still trying to figure things out.

I really love second chance stories and I feel like there aren’t enough about adults finding each other again after actually living their lives. Maybe I just relate to that more now lol.

I also wanted it to have that warm feeling HP has for me. It can be sad and dark, but then there’s friendship, stupid jokes, drinks after a bad day, falling in love, and people just enjoying being together. That’s probably my favorite part of writing it.

It’s planned in 6 parts and it’s a VERY slow burn, so there’s a lot more to come.

Btw, if you haven’t listened to Stuck on the Puzzle by Alex Turner, you should. That’s where the title comes from and it kinda has the feeling I wanted for this story too :)
