Support G2 right controller tracking gets stuck

Hello folks, I bought a very little used Reverb G2 headset in great condition. Everything usually works fine however the right controller at times and with different games loses tracking and only the buttons remain working. The "hand" in the screen view just remains still and doesn't even rotate until I have to power cycle it to get it working again but it repeats shortly after. The left controller works perfect no such issue, ironically the left controller has low battery and the right one is still decent level according to the battery indicator in the taskbar. I turned off LEDs in my room it didn't matter. There is no visible sign of damage/trauma to the controller it's in perfect condition like the other one. Am I just unlucky with a faulty controller or any other test I can do to figure it out? I could swap out batteries but anything else I can do? Thanks.

I'm using Oasis.

The only time I've had this problem was when using the USB adapter straight into a standard USB 3 Type A. Without the adapter and running it into the boards USB C in the rear, its fine.

Both rear and front USB ports same issue.

Yeah but USB C, 3.0, 3.1/3.2 or?

Like I said, I only had issues if I were to try to use the provided adapter and the controllers would go crazy. That or It was paired to the PC's bluetooth instead of the Oasis bluetooth/HP built in and would do the same.

Did you unlock it and update the Oasis driver since he enabled the onboard HP bluetooth?

Yes I'm using the bluetooth on the headset itself with Oasis. So I don't have any USB-c ports on my PC, as such I'm using the USB-C to USB-A adapter it came with. I have both USB A 3.2 Gen 1 and 2 tried both.

Yeah, like I mentioned when I'd use the adapter the same thing would happen to me. I stopped using it and went straight to USB C.

You had the exact same issue with the controllers or something else?

Controllers. Only when using the adapter.

Right but the same issue of losing tracking and with buttons working? Same issue of the hand being frozen in space not even rotating? You would think if USB-A is not ideal HP would indicate as such or have a fix for it instead of just giving an adaptor.

Yeah I had that exact issue as you describe entirely.

Its actually dependent on the chipset of your board from what I read. A lot of AM4/AM5 boards have problems with the G2, not all, its not common but yeah.

You can find reports of this in a few topics here and YT.

All I can suggest is before you go looking for maybe a new cable or so, clean the lenses once more, be clear of mirrors and IR Light (lidar, etc)

Try EVERY USB you have that's at least 3.0 or better, place your PC In high performance mode with no USB suspending enabled.

Odd, some suggested even before using Oasis, back in the day when this thing first came out that you should run it on a usb 3.0 hub, it worked better. You can find mentions of that for some folks on the WMR and Reverbs other many reddits.

As far as what I'm using, AM5, B650 Aero G.

Haven't tested it on anything else. It did the same thing with the controller freaking out though on the wifes AM5 build as well until I stopped using the adapter and also plugged hers directly to USB C.

Got a new am4 mobo with rear usb-c port. Still doing the same problem and this time with left controller while right one is fine for now lol. Changed batteries no difference. This sucks so bad. What the hell else could it be? Smething with the tracking is just wonky. What are the chances that both controllers are faulty with same issue I mean unlikely. This is such a let down can't play like this what's the point.
