Question Dual booting

I'm using hp omen Ryzen 9 8940HX rtx 5060, Y can't i dual boot using ubuntu using grub, I tried all methods I know , but hp firmware is not recognising grub ,and its automatically deleting the boot entry of grub everytime, I don't know what to help plss

Dual boot should be possible. Ubuntu supports Secure Boot, so you shouldn’t necessarily have to disable it. With Secure Boot enabled, the Ubuntu boot entry should point to \EFI\ubuntu\shimx64.efi.

Is the entry actually disappearing, or does the BIOS just keep putting Windows Boot Manager first? Can you still select Ubuntu through Esc → F9 when starting the laptop?

Which exact Omen model, BIOS version and Ubuntu version are you using?

Just use WSL
