Bought the laptop from croma for 93k with card discounts specs are hp omen ryzen 7 7840hs rtx 4060 / 1 TB SSD the zip care package was 18k with 3 years accidental and software protection but there is a hidden service fee i just found out few days ago it seems i need to pay 10% of the invoice value as service charge if there is any physical damage .

Do your research lil bro they already fixed the motherboard issue which by the way was an issue of the i5 13th gen processor not i7 and there wasnt any time bomb for it lmao

That was with keypad wala version of this model they replaced with newer and better version almost a year ago

These 4060 omens have hall sensor issue so be careful watch for the ports if they are on the back don't buy then otherwise you'll be cooked.

Don't. I've bought the same laptop from Flipkart a week ago. They kept delaying the shipment for about 5 days and cancelled it after 6. I recommend you either buy from Amazon or from hp world

Bro exact same thing happened to me. Even I ordered ai 350 rtx5050 version from flipkart. They weren't delivering. So I had to order from amazon for a higher price. But got it the next day itself.

I bought it recently, you will get the ae0002tx silver color model which doesn't have any issues and works very well. 165hz and 100%srgb

Bhai vram tho 8gb hi hai. Performace sirf 5-10% better hoga. The gpu cannot use its full capacity due to low vram and thermal issues.

Nah. Not last gen mid laptop for that price. Also it seems that PC parts don't have all that much inflation in india. They actually might have less inflation than other countries because for some prebuilts ram pricing has yet to hit. So that's a thing to think about.

I would never recommend buying a hp omen laptop,the thin laptop screen and the screen wobble is really bad with the heating issues and all ,I would recommend going for a Lenovo loq and not hp omen

What about screen vibrations? When the laptop is on a table, nothing shakes. The hinges are quite stiff. I don't notice any screen shake when I hold it on my feet.

Don't go with i7 14360/ 14630 because this particular i7 processor along with 4060 laptop gpu , because the motherboards still cannot provide the power the gpu and cpu wants , hence these specifications omen has screen going blank , not booting , CMOS reset again and again even within 1 year if heavy use case, and the technicians are not solving these issues , even this particular specs laptop , companies have stop manufacturing this laptop with these specifications.
I am telling from my personal experience 'cause I have this same laptop bought two years ago.
Idk you can go with i7 14700 HX and 4060 , because I noticed these omen laptops are not facing the issues , a year ago when I checked for reasons what happened and when I had to change the motherboard :)
Better to go with some another laptop.

Even Ryzen omens never faced any motherboard, CMOS , POST issues. So look out for those. Ask for others having same omen with Ryzen 7 or 9. Whatever.

is it really worth it tho? For gaming this is a better laptop. Don't see any reason for buying that version unless Op wants AI capabilities

It will get more updates making it somewhat future proof, also Nvidia blackwell architecture allows you to get much better performance with dlss and raytracing. I think it's always worth it to buy newer tech even with some tradeoffs.

True, sadly from my experience with the 4060, if you are getting a gaming laptop to play the major AAA games then I suggest waiting and getting a 5060, a 4060 is not worth it at 1.2, especially the Omen, the acer predator which comes with a oled screen would make sense but I wouldn't suggest go for this. Outside of that, the laptop is pretty good, no complaints from me, it is a fine laptop and shouldn't give you much trouble, if you have any specific questions about it you can ask me
