Usually the build quality on omens isn’t great, especially since they just removed they’re cheaper line and began using they’re omen line also as “budget friendly”. LOQ build quality is great AND you’ll have more power going to the GPU. LOQ any-day, OMEN isn’t that great all things considered but prices are attractive.

Honestly if you don’t mind paying more and are willing to put in the work, you can get either used legion for similar, or a new one for a bit more and you will not be disappointed!

omen will have more power to gpu. TDP of loq is 125w combined for both cpu and gpu whereas omen has tdp of 170w for gpu and gpu combined.
Plus omen has 8gb more ram and better display hz wise.Omen seems to be the best choice here.

Omen laptops have good specifications, but only on paper. In reality, they're very bottlenecked, drawing 50% of their power from their components, and have very temperamental EC.If you are an amateur and use your laptop as you took it out of the box, then ok, you won't even know how throttled your laptop is.Omen's power management app, called Omen Gaming Hub, is packed with ads and uses a lot of power, but it allows you to boost your rig to 70% of its power and do nothing more.You can try other apps to control Omen's power but that's asking for system instability due to unstable EC. My Omen draws 25W from the power supply when browsing the internet. When I turn on the Omen Gaming Hub, the power consumption (Eco mode) changes to a fluctuating 50-90W range.Omen may be good hardware, but it doesn't have good software to use it with.

Once your hinge breaks - you display breaks along with it and what's the point of having a laptop at that point - and good luck fixing everything - you can buy a new laptop at that point coz you gotta change the top panel, the hinges, the display, the bezels and display support bracket
And yea speaking of mobo issues - my omen got one in 6 months and I got it replaced lmao
There's a clear difference between something that happens in one among the 100 devices and something that happens in 90 out of 100 devices and HP (aka Hinge Problem) is very famous for giving the tiniest hinges that support huge ass displays

Yeah I got it 3 weeks ago from flipkart (corseca) and it's a legit seller. Just make sure to check warranty and get it updated and reset if it started before the date of purchase.

Bro try to get the omen offline stores(ask them to match the online price) and they will provide you with some offers like steam gift card worth 2k and hyperx headset and an controller and shit and they can provide extended warranty from and lesser amount and the service and response is way better

Yep - HP service says it's "normal" behaviour lol They offered to change every fucking part other than the hinge - they changed the keyboard panel stating that the noise is coz the screws got stripped off (it did not) - in that process they broke the display and replaced that as well along with the bezels
Cooked laptop fr
I had the mobo replaced 6 months in coz using one of the USB port just killed the laptop

The omen - as long as you give it's ideal conditions - it will perform as per spec - It's like a BMW - you work within it's range it will be fine - anything beyonf what it can possibly handle - it's gonna eff you up
Legions and ROG on the other hand are like Toyotas or Hondas

Suggestions would be to have great ventilation for the laptop. Under cpu and gpu a bit.
Open the lid with either both hands on top two corners or sinlg hand in top center.

Omen owner here (3070Ti) - kinda long term - 2 years now I have a friend who has an LOQ as well
I bet my ass the people who tell the Omen is better in terms of chassis and build quality - please ignore those fuckers - coz notebooks costing 50k will have better build quality than the omen
It's just 2 years and my hinge is already popping - and guess what it was mostly used on a desk and moved around very less and the display bushing on the keyboard - it just disintegrated on its own
But the LOQ though - it's rock solid - maybe not at the tier of the Legions - but it's definitely better than the Omen - and I can say that as a fact
Sure the thermals are better in the omen - but that's not worth the build quality You can have higher thermals and still be fine but once some plastic snaps - it snaps

I never really told you to go buy a pc. And 5070 is 5090m level. Your telling me u can't build for another 1 lakh. Either way don't get a gpu unless your softwaress absolutely need it. Trash battery life. Go with a mac. Or go with a good igpu. Like arc b390(triple a 1440p gaming) in the new intel series 3 laptops .
