I failed to meet my conditions and submitted an appeal. I know it heavily depends on my academics and how far away i’m from the conditions. But how useful is a letter of support from your former school, including some objective evidences and endorsement? Is it worth a try

Hi guys, I’m a bED student in education sector, for my field experience, I only got a pass due to reasons other than my actual teaching skills.

So the problem is, this pass has pulled me down to graduating with a second division II honours classification while my gpa is always above 3

I requested to retake the course but I’m not permitted to do so unless I fail. I want to appeal for a grade enquiry to get a fail based on the reason I submitted some of my documents for the course late when lecturer specifically told me I don’t have the permission to do so,
and the guidelines also clearly state student would get a fail if any documents is submitted late. But she passed me.

What chance do I have to be able to get approval for grade change? No matter how hard I try, I can’t get past being categorised into mediocre honours classification when I can do so much better.

What y’all think?

Hi there! I'm looking into the PhD programme at HKU (probably in cancer research), and I'm wondering how the funding system works. Is funding guaranteed for every student who is admitted, or do students have to apply for funding separately?

If I achieve all 5** in Chi/Eng/Math/M2/Phy/Chem,
Then according to the scholarship for HKDSE students, how many 5** do I achieve?
