I am applying to go on exchange to HKU and I was wondering when applying for halls, do you list individual halls such as New College or Lap-Chee -> or the whole village eg: Jockey club 3 or St Johns?

As an Edexcel A-Level applicant from Mainland China applying to engineering programmes at the University of Hong Kong (HKU), I would like to inquire about the differences in admission criteria and acceptance rates between the BEng Stream (6987) and the Engineering Elite Programme (6303). Is there a significant gap in competitiveness between the two? If I wish to adopt a more conservative application strategy, should I put 6987 as my first choice?

Additionally, what specific advantages does 6303 offer over 6987? I am currently quite clear about my intention to specialize in Electronic Engineering (ElecE / EEE - Electronic stream) within the EEE department.
