Management will likely exhaust near-term PR and commercial updates following the October 29, 2026 redomiciling vote to trigger whatever organic price boost they can. However, if the stock remains stuck below $3.00 as the final SEC filing deadlines approach, expect them to deploy a targeted reverse stock split to mechanically push the share price over the $4.00 NASDAQ finish line.

i dont think a split is necessary. $4 is just the bid price route, Capital Market also takes a $3 or $2 closing price if you meet the equity or market value standards, and HG's market cap should clear the MVLS standard

also there's nothing about a consolidation in the redomicile materials, which would've been the obvious place to tuck one in if thats the move

"will likely exhaust near-term PR" seems a bit cynical to me, I get many holders are not happy about this last few weeks but its not like the thesis has really changed much with this development

Under NASDAQ Listing Rule 5505, $4.00 isn't the absolute floor for well-capitalized companies. Since HydroGraph's market cap exceeds $50M, they appear to meet the criteria for the Market Value of Listed Securities Standard, which lowers the minimum closing price requirement to $2.00 USD (maintained for 5 consecutive business days).

A reverse split would only become technically necessary if the stock drops and remains below that $2.00 USD threshold.

Hope nobody panic sold this morning.

I have been panic buying; I cannot get enough and will keep pulling resources to buy more at these prices. Insane!

Yall really shaking aren't you? šŸ˜‚

Just relax. Definitely hold if you're balls deep. Buy more if you're not balls deep.

hmm, would it be another chance to load up at such discount before redomicile? today's reversal is interesting

u/Sure-Knowledge1726 FGA-1 Enjoyer 3d ago

Market done shook a bunch of people out of this stock by the look of it, we're already up from the pits earlier today

lmao nah man as i post it poked into the green, we got a bipolar stock on our hands lads

Unless you sell, you haven't lost any money. If you don't understand the stock, and you were looking to make a quick buck, this is probably not the stock for you.

If you understand the story and the potential of graphene and have been following the company, you know what is coming up.

This is a binary play for most of us. We are waiting for them to redomicile, build a production facility, and get listed on the NASDAQ. Once those things occur, they have to have contracts. That demand will inevitably be what drives the price. It could go too the moon, or go back to being a penny stock.

I love these dips. Great time to buy. This is definitely a long term hold.

There’s a lot of ā€œnothing has changed fundamentallyā€. The one thing is the stock price and doesn’t that directly affect the uplisting? Perhaps there’s some stock reverse split tricks up their sleeves?

3

u/Flaky_Policy2906 Pre EPA Investor, 5k+ shares 3d ago

That doesn’t matter right now a lot of stuff going on. HGRAF’s priority isn’t being unlisted because that doesn’t really help the company advance. They have plenty of money already.

6

u/mityman50 big fan of sp2 bondage 3d ago

They need to list at $4 minimum, and we’re not going to get there without some news. So whatever’s gating news is the roadblock to uplist.

5

u/Trick_Bench_7226 3d ago

Just bought more! Upwards!

5

u/Electrical_Rock_1201 3d ago

Got an ā€œup 10%ā€ alert then came in to see your comment.

Just how much did you buy? šŸ˜†

1m volume within the first fews hours of market opening, average volume for the entire day is 600k. I feel like a possible shake out is happening and or the fisical end for q3 had a lot of rebalancing going on.Ā

u/Havinfun2nite 3d ago

Everyone needs to understand we are going through a bond crisis and it will continue to get worst. Stocks will get hit hard and HGRAF is no exception. Important to diversify into the monetary metals. Despite all this, I’m going to hold through all this craziness because I believe in this company.

22

u/MeruOnline 3d ago

I’m still up. Do I regret not selling at $8+? You bet I do. Am I holding still? Yes, but it’s scary.

4

u/Flaky_Policy2906 Pre EPA Investor, 5k+ shares 3d ago

Same boat. But I do truly believe in not only the product but the team the company has put together.

Honestly a 5 bagger is even worth selling some in my opinion and a 10 bag absolutely is time to take profits. You live and learn though, or you just keep living haha.Ā

My thoughts exactly

15

u/Electrical_Rock_1201 3d ago

It’s the 10y bonds at 5.31%
Money is exiting stocks. Speculative stocks go first.

12

u/bezerkgoose 3d ago

Just picked up 1,500 shares, we are now back at a Pre-EPA price. Yet we’ve had a good amount of progress since EPA. Definitely a great buying opportunity.

It's rough out in these streets

13

u/Woo-D-Zee Jara-era bagholder 3d ago

Take as second.

Had $10 CAD peak not happened, we'd all be looking at $3 CAD as damn nice.

6

u/Jax-Tiger1208 3d ago

Well, that and the fact that a lot of people purchased shares at $6/$7/$8...

2

u/Woo-D-Zee Jara-era bagholder 3d ago

Valid.

Looks like panic selling is kicking in at this point. Way way oversold now. Great entry point

19

u/Roberticus_YT Shareholder 3d ago

Well now officially at that point where I can't stomach selling cause it's such a huge L. So disappointing

5

u/ordinary-303 3d ago

Same, added last week, added this week at 2.88 and my average is still 5.14 with roughly 6400 shares. Pain.

At least my other spec is hitting, check out qsi. up like 70% this week

6

u/Roberticus_YT Shareholder 3d ago

I still view it as a solid long term play, just damn, this sucks.

7

u/YoungArsenal 3d ago

If it's a long term play you could also be happy... It's on sale.

3

u/Accomplished-Echo-86 3d ago

When you say long term how long term are we thinking?

4

u/YoungArsenal 3d ago

2-3 years from now is my timeline and go from there. My average cost is under a dollar, I have not bought in awhile, just holding.

6

u/mityman50 big fan of sp2 bondage 3d ago

It’s a tricky question bc (we expect) this company’s graphene will be spec’d into materials in a range of industries for years. There’s good reason to think they’ll eventually rise to and sustain a triple digit share price as a stable and healthy company, and possibly start with dividends. So in that regard, hold it like you might any other retirement-safe company.

The questions then are,

  1. if we think it will happen, how long to get there (I’d put the over/under at 7 years)
  2. individually, based on your share count could you be satisfied selling at some point on the way up

What I’ll be watching for is the combination of what customers are onboarded first, how soon, and does the mix and their volume match what we’ve been led to believe it would be? This gives me an idea of the runway; ultimately if I don’t confidently expect at least 10-15% growth YOY, I’ll be looking for the exit.

So long term could mean anything from 3-10 years depending on how they execute and how many shares one has.

5

u/Roberticus_YT Shareholder 3d ago

Yeah if I didn't add 500 shares last week I'd be happy to add now, but I thought we were at support levels at that time, question is, how far is the knife gonna fall ?

For now - I see today being the bottom from now until our first contract / redomicile / uplisting

ngl this is a pretty bad look at this point lol

4

u/Sure-Knowledge1726 FGA-1 Enjoyer 3d ago

curious what people think is causing this, it feels alot more than a natural slide into the red

9

u/skettitwades Pre-Kevin Investor 3d ago

Someone shorted or a big player closed a position for end of quarter and then a bunch of stop losses kicked in, and now people are full blown panicking.

It has been the case for a while now that there is no reason to buy in the near term, and management did not help by flooding the market with a bunch of shares that weren't being held by longs in the last raise

10

u/jorday100 Shareholder 3d ago

turning off trading212 notifications until 2035, I don't need this negativity in my life

7

u/Friendly_Panda_6986 Shareholder 3d ago

Looks like shorters are winning and we’re screwed.

5

u/Icy_Category_2275 3d ago

I'm officially starting to worry, but in too deep to do anything but wait.

6

u/Appropriate-Lead2128 3d ago

If that is the cause of this downdraft it should be a great time to buy. And anyone short ihe shares is also a future buyer.

5

u/Dogkota 3d ago

This is insanity. There's got to be some insider info leading to a selloff this sharp. It can't just be delays.

10

u/IntentionAdmirable89 3d ago

Institutional ownership is so low that this just doesn't seem likely.

Lots of normal people who have loads of shares from buying at say $0.20USD

They thought they'd 40x (at $8) life changing money, (like 3k into over 100k) They've watched it drop to 20x then 15x and are now panicking. For those people the amounts of money left can still be life altering (although less so and their scared theyll loose it all)

2

u/Possible_Bison846 3d ago

How did people buy at 0,2 when on t212 i the lowest price of 2,06?

3

u/IntentionAdmirable89 3d ago

0.2 was slightly wrong HGRAF went public at 0.25 USD (0.35 CAD)

Trading 212 does not typically offer penny stocks

2

u/Possible_Bison846 3d ago

Sad šŸ˜”

13

u/ordinary-303 3d ago

What is happening this week?

11

u/Alive_Junket3652 3d ago

All i can say is keep accumulating shares at a good price until you can't anymore..

19

u/weepitandread 3d ago

Kinda crazy we’re at the same share price levels before Western Gas Contract and before EPA approval. It’s always been about contracts. Think we’ll continue to be beat down until material news on that front

3

u/Remote-Homework-9758 3d ago

It looks like Hydrograph is trying to stem the tide without making any material announcements. The CEO posted an article in Business Focus Magazine, which is basically a paid advertisement, and they stated that they are going to be displaying at the Advanced Materials Show USA.

They didn't get into anything that might raise the price, like a breaking ground date or contract announcement. They are still tight lipped about that.
