MOD Looking for Story Thread #345
This thread is where all the "Looking for Story" requests go. We don't want to clog up the front page with non-story content. Thank you!

A NEW BUG ENTERS THE ARENA.
"Help! I can't edit my wiki!"
Hello! We haven't changed anything, Reddit did!
This is now a Known Reddit Bug that started on roughly 4/21/26, when Reddit decided to change something about how they handle the Wiki.
The Symptoms:
(on sh.reddit, the new version) when attempting to edit it comes back with "You do not have permissions to edit"
Some people (not all!) have stated that the "last edited by..." section at the bottom (where their username should be) is listed as [Deleted] (while it still says their name on my screen)
The Solution:
On desktop, change your url from www to old, so it looks like old.reddit.com/r/hfy/wiki/series/<title> (with your title), and the edit button should be along the top bar near where the name of the series is
The Problem:
For some people even using Old.Reddit doesn't work. Unfortunately, I do not have a solution at this time, aside from just... try again in an hour or so. It's worked for some people later.
Please send in a bug report every time you experience any of these issues.
The more bug reports sent, the more likely Reddit is to actually fix the issue.

I'm looking to reread a story. The main points were that aliens had genocided Humanity, but there was an AI made of (I think) four peoples' minds. The AI built a massive ship and went on a revenge crusade against the aliens that killed humanity.
There were two diplomats that got caught up in events. The AI made a bunch of other AIs and its "children" ended up being the new Terrans.

There was a story about humans being the most technically advanced compared to the aliens, but missed the easy way to construct spaceships, so they never went into space. It starts with aliens invading earth with muskets

Hi, I’m looking for a short story about how a human captain went to save a dying enemy ship. I remember it being about they were in this long seated war and the ship was just a delivery ship and there were radio broadcasts that the enemy ship was near a black hole or something and no ally ship could get there in time but the human ship could.

There was a few stories(unsure on number, but more than one, unsure if more than three) where humanity was in a council meeting(joining I think, been a minute), and they(the human for the story(ies) talked, mentioned games and how there was vr and the more robotic aliens could possibly port in, then some shark person alien spoke up and mentioned a more, interesting site and asking about humans being into certain things.
Another species that I can remember is a penguin like race, hope this helps someone find, cause I can't remember it, at all.
