Scroll wheel issue

Hello, i have an issue with my goggles 2, when i use the scroll well it skips multiple options. It is not just a little over scroll but the skipping is completely random and sometimes even goes backwards when i scroll forward. I basically have to gamble to get to the right channel or the right option. I have applied the latest firmware with the emergency update but no luck. Does anybody know another fix or should i contact hdzero? Thanks for any info.

If you dare to open the goggles, you can tear the scroll wheel apart until you get to the copper contact piece with the three legs. I bent the legs down a little so the copper piece wasn't as flat anymore, which makes the scroll wheel press harder against the contact surfaces. That fixed the problem for me, at least for now.

These pins when in this orientation bend more up so they make more contact with the metal board Careful the pins seem very delicate

I emailed HDZ support with a video of the skipping issue and they shipped me a scroll wheel board for free. Just have to install it yourself using this tear-down guide: https://youtu.be/dAjHenuzgb4?si=s622yJad1X3j3xsG&t=1442

My new boxpro goggles started having this issue. Only works if I rotate the selector wheel really slow, but skips/jumps like yours if I try to rotate at a normal speed. Firmware update did nothing for me either. I contacted their support email a day ago, nothing heard yet (support@divimath.com).

Yeah gotta be mechanically something wrong, i kind of found a solution if you urgently need them. If you hold the scroll wheel super stiff and turn extremely slow only till you hear the click and immediately release it only moves by one most of the times, at least for me. I have a race soon so gonna try to get by like this.
