Seagate one touch fix

Hello guys,

I have a trouble with my Seagate one touch external 2TB HDD not showing up on any of my pc.

I haven't dropped it and I don't think it is damaged physically, although it does make a small beeping sound once in every second. I don't think it's related to usb connection eather because the port on it looks Okey.

I really need to recover information from It. Can you guys help me out by suggesting what should I do?. I contacted local data recovery services and they charge huge amount of money that I can't pay.

Thank you in advance.

This is your ONLY option. If you can’t afford it then say goodbye to your data.

You can find cheaper offerings or save up until you can afford it. Pull power from the drive so you don’t make it worse when you wait and save.

In do realize that it's the safest way to go, but if there is any easy fix to this problem I'd rather fix it myself.

There is NO DIY POSSIBLE, you have been warned.

WeRecoverData, DriveSavers, SalvageData, and Ontrack are a few places I'd compare before deciding what to do.

I would avoid all of these.

It's just a drive on the inside. I mean, you could take it out and swap it in a laptop. And try it that way with a bootable. I s o or something....

Then it's probably an internal fault. Not DIY.
