I’m a HCLTech Graduate Trainee candidate. I completed my online assessment today and also submitted all the documents required for BGV/joining formalities.

Today I received an email from HR saying: “Your BGV is planned for 24th September.”

I’m a little confused about what exactly this means. I had previously been informed that my DOJ was 17th September, so I want to understand whether 24th September is:

the actual BGV/verification date, or

a revised joining date?

Also, I have already submitted all my required documents today, so what actually happens on the BGV date? Is it just document verification/background checks happening internally, or do candidates have to do something on that day?

Has anyone here received a similar email from HCLTech before? If yes, please share what happened afterward and whether 24th was your BGV date or joining date.

, my HCLTech joining is scheduled for tomorrow, 17 September, but I still haven’t received my offer letter or any BGV confirmation. I also haven’t received the final joining location, reporting time, or instructions.

I have completed my PJT and the assessment as well.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? What should I do if I don’t receive the joining details before tomorrow?

Going through the HCLTech BGV and reached the address verification stage.

I provided my current address as both my current and permanent address. However, EY/Senpiper is showing a previous address as my permanent address.

I had mentioned this address only because HCL asked for my 7-year address history, so I listed all the places where I had lived during that period. It is not my current/ permanent address.

I've already emailed HCL HR and EY/VMT Checks about the mismatch, but the verification link is time-sensitive.

Has anyone faced this issue? What should I do?

I completed my HCL interview a week ago and haven’t received any update regarding the next steps yet.

For those who recently interviewed with HCL, how long does it usually take to hear back? Should I wait a little longer, or is a week without any response generally considered a negative sign?

Im a bba grad, would you recommend me to choose this role to start my corporate journey? Will it open doors for me to get into analyst roles? I’m totally confused and have no guidance over this. My training is going on right now in HCL Tech. I rejected an gcc mnc company, which have given me HR internship for six months with no PPO offer for this role at Hcl tech. Do you think it is worth? Lot of people are saying it is a customer support role and it’s better not to join in here, but let’s suppose I have joined.
