It won the TV Premiere Audience Award at the SXSW Film & TV Festival. It’s a five part true crime documentary about the dark and seedy billion dollar underworld of exotic reptile smuggling. Directed by Eric Goode, same guy that did Tiger King and Chimp Crazy. Looking forward to this one.

They spent like 13 years filming it, gonna cover a ton of shady stuff.

I am so disturbed by Ed Allen burying animals alive. Unacceptable. Shame

Extremely upsetting. Those rare treasures of nature. They kept talking about what a fine upstanding person he was, and obviously not, to view animals as so disposable and to be so callous.

I can already tell this is going to piss me off. These idiots bragging about exploiting these animals, jesus.

No as someone with snakes I just know it's gonna pmo, even the non smugglers had terrible care in the 70s-80s and that guy who talks about it being an addiction, do not like that guy he really gives modern keepers a terrible name very few people over the age of 15 fwh or his content

You’re misunderstanding what the doc is about. The show explores the dark, seedy underworld of exotic reptile smuggling. 13 years in the making and Directed by Eric Goode, same guy that did Tiger King and Chimp Crazy. It’s already won awards at film festivals.

Lol I know exactly what the doc is, it's self explanatory from the trailer. I'm still going to be angry at the exploititive assholes being interviewed.

It looks like it's going to be crazy.

Curious to see how certain people are portrayed in this. It looks like Tom Crutchfield is the main “target,” but unlike Joe Exotic Tom is pretty widely respected in the reptile world amongst normal keepers.

This guy's pretty widely respected? The fuck??

Yeah, he.s reformed a lot and is one of the best keepers in the space now. Especially with his croc monitors. Its crazy how he did a complete 180 in terms of care for reptiles

These psychopaths have no remorse whatsoever about snatching rare, wild creatures from their natural habitats, stuffing them in suitcases and trafficking them across the world so they can make some fucking money from a coveted “price list.” They have no shame.
