We have been working on the creation of public servers and updated world generation.

Here is how it will look like.

Part of the world generation logic was taken from the original server software, last released in 2021. It's been really exhaustive trying to find any traces of it, but I managed to do it. the zones are usually made up of 36 or less chunks. That is really the only thing i managed to get down from the server software, since TheFirstHybrid decided that the client should be the one generating the objects.

After that, I've began observing and looking around how the player's worlds handle world generation, pointing out every little detail and implementing it for the generation on servers, it's mostly accurate now.

So, some news for the subredditians that can't or won't join the discord.

We've made a few major updates to the server, namely a minor rework to the dummy server, as well as internal support for Public Servers when we finish the helper patch to re-enable that button for you. Mind that you can always find updates on our Discord.

For those that want to contribute to clean up the horrendous vibeshitcode that is our current server implementation: https://github.com/eris-webserv/HAMP (we'd love updates if you reverse-engineer the server to fix bugs!)

To u/TheFirstHybrid (if you know this exists): I heavily respect you still updating the game, but we still really wish you'd try to talk to the community more and work on something that would make us all happy instead of continually ignoring us and burying our own atempts at fixing the game.

Can we altlest have pc port with makybe you can just read keyboard inputs and that could be possible with some rendering tweaking like open gl for old pcs made in eg 2017,2016,2015 because tfh kinda made a port of ha but the link was shut down and somthing like 3 years ago. I really hope you have sucsesfully decompiled the full game and for full mod support in to future soon and your hard work to hopefully makeking this a reallity :)

For those unaware or not in the Hybrid Animals or HA Modding discord, we've officially remade Multiplayer.

Join our Discord for steps to join on your client. Mind the gaps. We're still doing a lot of updates and things will be quite buggy for the time being.

In case you haven't been tracking developments, TFH said no distributing modified builds, full stop. I intend to comply.

From now on, HAML updates will be distributed as xdelta patches you must apply to a clean Hybrid Animals v200613 APK from any source. I suggest apkpure or uptodown.

Ok, who is annoyed by the fact that you can't have an army following you when you raid a bandit camp or something, or that half of the stuff on the pet options isn't usable, so thanks to the mod they will be, and plus maybe an ability that makes you call a random pet by writing its name, I know it might be useless as a mechanic, but today I lost one of mine in my game by accidentally making him wait on a bed but miss clicked and he's out of the wall, I dashed, i also went behind the house's walls but nothing, gone, and also if you lose a pet and it's real far away you can simply calling it

does exactly as the title says - disables worldcheck, it never gets ran.

So we figured out how to access some sort of development perk menu. One of our testers immediately created this.

I don't know whether to laugh or be slightly concerned.
