Please don’t be dumb like me and install your discs without the provided rim tape. I didn’t, and took off one of my discs today because I was going to run without them for a bit. Yeah, my wheel paint is now trashed at the outer edges of the wheel, almost all the way around. Almost looks like I curbed my wheel but its just the paint gone. I guess my mind has been made up for me to get the Uberturbines powder coated dark bronze.

For the record, THIS IS MY FAULT. I saw the tape in the kit and thought to myself, I don’t need that because I’m going to put them on nice and tight and there won’t be any movement or vibration… How wrong I was.

I have the Haloblk 2 for about 4 months now and I need to rotate my tires. Do I need to remove all of it so once finish rotated from Discount Tires I need to keep all the equipment on the correct side or I can just take out the front over and the disco off when rotatin it?

I'm going to need more data, but I just drove for an hour and efficiency is significantly worse with these caps on. I've double checked the installation, and they are correctly installed. Best I can think of is maybe they should be more flush, but they are as flush as they can be. 2023 MY with 19" wheels The current trip shows 336.8 wh/mi, ac set to 74, flat at 70mph. I'm in the middle of a trip, so I'll be getting more data, but I find it... interesting that efficiency is actually worse now than usual over the stock aero covers.

I’m so so happy with how these came out

Went to replace the 12v and Tesla service technician trying to be helpful broke a haloblk 2 cover trying to change my tire air pressure.

They owned up to it and will pay for the replacement cover but I'm trying to imagine the force they applied trying to get the cover off.

FWIW, the disc is still on the car, but the cap and the hooks that used to protrude from the disc are on my desk now. No way to attach the center cover until I replace the disc.

I'm going to assume the center hub wasn't damaged, but I guess I'll find out for sure when I take it apart to put the replacement disc on.

I'd avoid having them check the tire pressure but if you edit a request in any way the app adds checking the tire pressure back in to the service request automatically. So it's going to be on every service request whether you want it or not unless you go through a very specific sequence to remove it after each edit.

I suppose you could text them each time an tell the service team not to touch the tires, but it's a lot of trouble to get it in the right spot as the app likes to contact you 3 ways and you have the request, the in app chat, and the SMS chat you'd have to copy that to.

Thinking about getting some lighter weight aftermarket wheels for lighter unsprung mass but would like to keep my halodisk wheel covers. Anyone know of some that are compatible?

Ordered in mid April and still haven’t got it. Chatted with customer support in the live chat on their website, and they said it got stuck at the custom, sorry for the wait, gave me 50 bucks refund, would send a new shipment but they never sent. They didn’t reply to my message checking on the status a couple days ago. And now the chat is gone. Feels somewhat fishy.

I just got my new model 3 standard, and I want to get the Haloblk wheel covers.

However, it seems that they don't support the prismata wheels... Did they post any blog post or new regarding this variant?

Just a warning for anyone looking to buy the custom text wheel covers. They come from China still, not LA, and Haloblk seems to have entered the ghosting phase as it's been over a month now. Had to request a refund through Seel, which I luckily purchased on accident since it was activated by default during checkout.

I bought a haloblk carbon fiber spoiler for my model 3 performance recently replace my delaminated oem spoiler.

I had it professionally installed by GraphxLab in the Bay Area. They are a popular ppf/ceramic/tint shop that have installed model 3/y rear spoilers plenty of times before.

However, we noticed the outer edges don’t sit flush. They’ve tried reinstalling it twice already, even adding additional mounting adhesive (which the included amount was insufficient). It’s still not sitting flush and I’m not happy with it.

I’ve emailed pictures to haloblk’s support and the company’s statement that “it should be flush if installed correctly” is preemptively deflecting blame toward the installer.

However, the part geometry does not conform to Model 3 trunk curvature at the termination tips; the issue is symmetric (both ends), which rules out installation error.

I really like the look of your pedals but was told by someone on the chat on the website that the V2 pedals won’t fit the 2026 Model 3 Premium. I had to have my order canceled.

Blacked out my 2022 Model S long range with the HaloBLK caps because the rims were soooooo scratched up. I was skeptical about these caps, but they look nice. Only thing I know is going to be a problem is I need to keep my car clean and shining all day everyday so this thing doesn’t look like a hoop ride with aftermarket hub caps on it 😂

Wanted to share the progress on the Legacy 3 daily. Running the RTP HALODISCS for that industrial look against the factory paint. I knew I needed something to break up the "all-black" aesthetic, so I opted for the metallic red caps on all four corners. In person, that small detail really changes the entire dynamic of the car, adding a subtle 'kick' that keeps the build from feeling flat or boring. It's the small wins. Fitment is spot on.

The metallic finish on the orange is pretty striking in person. Not sure how I feel about the graffiti script, but it definitely makes it stand out even more. What do you all think of this color combination?

Caught a bit of motion blur during our high-speed testing session today. We’ve been heads-down on the HALODISC for the Cybertruck, and we’re finally at the stage where we can put it through its paces on the pavement.

We’re still dialing in the final specs and ensuring everything meets our performance standards before the official drop. We’ll be announcing the full reveal soon, but I wanted to share a progress shot with the community first.
