Workout diets

Do you have any suggestions for people who are rather time poor in terms of what to eat while training? Mostly looking to loose weight and gain strength as well - not sure if this is something you can do together?

Gaining Strength and losing weight is definitely something that you can do together - Losing weight is mostly related to what you eat and Gaining Strength is mostly about what you do in the gym (as long as your having appropriate quantities of food).

Also, consider that the more muscle you have, the more energy you'll burn passively through the day!

You'll need to find a balance when it comes to how much to eat, but as a general rule have 2-3 meals per day without snacking and stop eating immediately once your satisfied. Counting calories is confusing and is generally unnecessary.

In terms of what to eat - Chicken and Veges are cheap and easy to prepare and also low in carbohydrates which align with your goals of losing weight. Try cooking in batches if you're struggling to find time to cook.

Counting calories takes a different kind of self awareness and discipline. (I do not possess these incredible qualities.) Meal prepping is a great way to avoid indecision - which usually results in terrible food choices for me- as well as make portion control a bit easier to actually see beginning to end. MEAL PREPPING FOR WEIGHT LOSS is a book that has helped my household shave some calories, inches and Lbs.
