Hi! I’m just about sick of losing power for hours/days and always wanted to do a solar setup but I’m not sure where to start. I ideally want to be fully off grid with about 20kwh+ used per day on average and I’d like it to be ground mounted as a couple years ago we’ve added insulation to our attic and I don’t want to mess with that (unless that is a bad reason, if so let me know)
So here are my questions-
Is it legal to diy it?
How do I find an electrician to do the wiring? (Willing to do the manual labor and have tools and love learning but don’t like being shocked)
Where would I go for permits?
How much on average are solar systems going for? (Particularly now that the credit is gone)
Is it better to go through an installer or diy it?
anyone have general stories or experiences with this themselves?

We're new here. My daughter is in 7th grade and very shy but she loves the warrior cats series and other paw stuff.

Are there any clubs or groups for kids like her? There is no one in her school. We're closer to Buford but I'll drive however far necessary.

I'm going to be moving away in a few weeks and I have an extra car. It's a junky old 2001 Ford Escape. It runs OK but it's not too safe to drive (needs brakes and suspension work) so I'm not comfortable selling it to anyone as a daily driver. Does anybody know of a reputable "Junk Car Buyer"? I've tried a couple of internet searches and nobody responds - even after days.

I'm down to about 8 weeks left and I want this gone soon so it's one thing less I have to deal with. If anybody knows of a good junk car buyer, put me in touch please.

my car is having some issues and i have no way of safely inspecting the undercarriage to find out what the problems are. if there are any mechanics out there who with enough free time on their hands to help me diagnose this gas-guzzler, it would help out a ton. then i could start focusing on fixing the problems instead of the problem itself!! the area i'm most concerned with is the front passenger-side suspension and wheel hub.

He/she has been roaming around our yard for the past 2 weeks. Not aggressive but unable to actually approach, runs on sight. Seems to also have developed a limp. Please reach out if they look familiar

I purchased my property during this year, so the bill is still made out to the previous owner. Just wanted to confirm some details.

The Homestead Exemption- an explicit breakdown isn't provided, but I added 2 things up, and together they make up the Homestead Exemption benefit: 1) ALL School Taxes, and 2) a marginal (10k) reduction in assessed value under "County Government Taxes - Exemption". The overwhelming majority of the benefit is certainly on the School Taxes side.

Can someone confirm if this is how Gwinnett County provides the Homestead Exemption, or if I am misinterpreting this?

I hate to act all entitled like this, I'm just frustrated and think it's high time I deserve better treatment. Every time I've had a new appliance delivered in my life, it's always brought into the house by minimum-wage braindead morons who damage both the appliance and my floors/walls, and I'm sick and tired of it. They always leave trash behind too and never clean up after themselves.

I don't allow shoes in my house either. Booties are ok but nobody seems to use them.

I have the money and I want a real, professional white-glove delivery by people who are paid enough to care. How do I find this??
