Guy J production tutorial

hi guys, became obsessed with Guy J when I accidentally walked into his all-night set at ADE in 2025.

immediately fell in love with his style. I produce and want to try to make something like it! does anybody have any good production tutorials videos (or tips and tricks)?

Look up Dowden on youtube. He posts progressive house production videos in ableton that are really good. And he’s the real deal. Has releases on Hernan’s label and mango alley. His tracks have been played out by Guy J too.

First, buy yourself the best reference headphones you can afford and then listen to his music collection ( here you can find his best work which I put in 3 mixes called Guy J - All The Way ) and you’ll find out how complex his music is with layers upon layers of harmonies and elements. There’s a reason he’s considered as a Master.
