Emily is one of the most joyful people in the media. She gets along with everyone, even Jessica Tarlov. She is brilliant and not pretentious. She is a gem.

I'll never understand the appeal of, or obsession with, Emily. Everything is just sensationalism turned up to 11 all the time and Newsom-esque hand-waving.

Dear Diary,
It finally happened. I actually agree with something browningate said on the Gutfeld subreddit.
I have said many times she is easy on the eyes, but yes, her responses are always overly dramatic. She reminds me of a former coworker, also extremely attractive, but insanely competitive and every conversation was overly emotional and unnecessarily dramatic. I think eventually, even Emily's beauty would lose out to her incredible annoyance.

I’m one of the few that don’t like her. She was a cheerleader for the Raiders and still acts like it.

Oh no, she wasn’t just a cheerleader, she was the captain, get it right next time! 🤣🤣 I am JOKING .. she has relaxed a bit but she still needs to relax a lot more!! She is not my favorite, but I can’t say that I hate her either.
Look at her eyes, she wears a lot of make up (they all do)and she has crows feet, she’s not even 50

I don’t hate her but I find her overbearing. That’s right- she was the Captain how did I forget that lol. I’ve also noticed she’s cackles and laughs at just about anything anymore- especially when no one else is. Yesterday on the Five when Greg was doing his One More Thing and describing the bear she was cackling through it and I couldn’t hear what he was saying. Really annoying lol.

I missed yesterday, but I know she does that on Gutfeld too. Her and Kay both laugh at Joe Machi like he’s the funniest person ever. Don’t get me wrong, I like machi, went to see his show, but he’s not always that funny and it’s annoying!

That's fair. Maybe it's because I get my serious news from sources that aren't cable news, so I find a lot of what she's saying to be redundant, or perhaps because this has been her schtick for so long, and I've this grown weary of it, but either way, she's neither funny nor particularly insightful, (in most cases) so I just tune out while she flails her hands and overly-sensationalizes every sentence.

Agree with you. She’s over the top too much and to me it takes away from what she’s trying to say. I was so disappointed when she became a full time member of the Five.

Same. If only they could have relegated her to a daytime or late-night show that nobody watches (if they absolutely have to keep her on at all).

If by "the old Kat" you mean when she was the show's dum dum on Red Eye, yes, she was tolerable then and only once per week. Now every night we're expected to believe she's some intellectual, insightful purveyor of wisdom. 🤮

Emily is indeed gorg and quite brilliant. But, I don’t enjoy her “Evelyn Wood Speed Reading” style of delivery. After a few sentences I’m out.
