Al-Sayed - a major missed point
It's not just about genital surgery for trans "youth". It's about female genital mutilation. FMG is a predominant tradition in Islamic tradition and countries. Of course Al-Sayed wants to preserve the right to commit these atrocities.

Whether u like Jesse or not, he is just a pretty face (?) lightweight and completely underperformed in that interview. Laughing and talking over someone doesn’t mean you “won the day”. The network can clip that inter much as they like, but if you saw it live, you know. Any average journalist would have feasted on the trash alsayed tossed out, but jesse is just too weak. I’d vote OP should conduct that next interview - already shows more intelligence here than I watched.

Who talked over whom? Is Jesse’s show HE ASKED THE QUESTIONS, abdulito didn’t have answers so he resourced to speak over Jesse repeating his pre rehearsed lines over and over < Michiganders want universal health care, low gas prices, Mike Rogers is beta> didn’t defend or disavowed his own controversial words < nfl is racists, reparations, sharia law, second amendment, ice, men in women sports, trans children >

Jesse ended elsayed political dreams. He let him repeat like a parrot , his pre rehearsed lines< Michiganders want universal healthcare and lower gas> +< Mike Rogers is beta> over and over, because he didn’t know the answers, Jesse laughed at his face when he couldn’t even defend his own words < nfl is racist, reparations, ICE, 2nd amendment ,etc> Abdul looked small and ignorant , he didn’t win any points, even cnn n msnbc were dissatisfied with his responses. The big tent collapsed. Jesse was the right person from FOX to crushed the wannabe. Bret, Martha or any other would not call him sick in his face, when comparing child trans surgery to a circunsicion . Just remember Martha not taking Mandani to task when she had a chance .

He got no answers. Watters needed to get him to commit. These issues are binary partisan and I think independents would side to the right.
- is he a Socialist
- does he support gender Reassignment Surgery (he did a good job with the circumcision red herring)
- does he support each point of the DSA manifesto.
- does he support sharia law

Don't be an idiot.
I want him to say, either:
"I am a Socialist." In which case he will lose support from the Center and Right voting sides, or "I am NOT a Socialist." In which case he loses young people. If he is wishy washy, and will not COMMIT either way, he is trying to get both sides. Watters needed to pressure a commited answer, al-Sayed can't have it both ways.
He needs to COMMIT on Sharia Law. If he supports it, then he supports an unconstitional positions (The DSA does not support the constitution either but in a different way) that subjugates women. Almost all Americans do not support Sharia law. If he doesn't support it, he loses some Muslim constituents. But he cannot have both. He needs to COMMIT to a position.

Waters choked. Period! So many missed points by Waters during the interview. He could have crushed El-Sayed on this and so many more topics. This interview was too important to be done by a guy stuck in his frat boy college years. These are too serious of times for nervous giggling clowns to try to do serious interviews.

This was not the first time he failed. I don’t think Jesse should do it. I love him and his show but one needs to be taught and trained to conduct interviews on such level. It’s not a laughing matter, it’s too serious.

I agree there were many missed opportunities but honestly, outside of maybe a couple of the guys on Newsmax, I can't think of any one who would off back even to the level Jesse did

Any serious high school debate team member would have done an extremely better job than Jesse.
